Yeah true lol, the models in the original game weren't not that realistic in terms of design or proportions, but still, they were some of the most realistic looking weapons back when most FPS games still uses completely fictional designs for the weapons.
And yeah, the original designs with higher quality just looks goofy nowadays, but they're still an interesting novelty to me personally lol.
Well, remastered gun designs of the late 90s.

Sadly that don't be my favourite weapon of the Hgrunt alien.
A perfect example of how to more faithfully remake something - take the original design and simply imagine it in a more HD style. Who needs models based on the IRL weapons when you can just bring back the magic of the low-poly models?
