Yes, instead of using a TAG as the enable trigger for the missions, you can use " is_playing_custom_nation = yes". You would have to manually edit the txt file for this since the tool was built only to use tags for the enable trigger.

Is there a way to zoom out with the program I have a wide screen monitor and its really diffucult to see the text on the left most part of the program such as delete mission slot

@nlinzer Yes, mods don't change how mission trees are structured and the tool just provides structured code for you to easily setup mission trees.

Finally got my hands on it, i must say its a very useful tool. Now i can mass produce missions for my AAR megacampaign nations.

Provided you have run the exe properly (extracted onto your desktop), do not set a custom export path (there is a Export folder in the tools files), have no underlining issues with your OS (I can only confirm this working on Windows 10) then you shouldnt have any issues. I recommend reading the documentation provided thoroughly to ensure you dont make any errors.

please be aware if you are downloading this that its possible you might end up like me and be unable to export the work, now be aware you cannot modify or copy an example of a mission already in the tree as plain text. At best you can get a screenshot so put your text into a backup document just incase so you can do this the old fashioned way if it doesnt work like it did for me

Appears to be in order, though for the GFX icons, you wouldn't have ".png". GFX Icons only go by their file name, not extension. It may take up to 10 minutes~ to export, I'd suggest ensuring you give it some time.

So far the files dont appear to be making it anywhere, I dont see them yet. Keep on pressing the "export file" button but nothing happening

You can leave it blank if those directories are not working so it will be saved into the pre-made Export folder in the files for the tool. Then you just need to manually drag and drop it into your desired location.

only issue is the exporting, I finished my (small) mission tree and am trying to export it, pressed that button several times, and put the addresses
C:\Users\Macky\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\mod\ivii\localisation
and
C:\Users\Macky\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\mod\ivii\missions

But I checked the addresses I put and there is no new file

It is certainly possible and will be added when I get round to updating the tool. I've been keeping a list of all suggestions and issues, so rest assured that when I can get around to it, many quality of life changes will be introduced.

I love the tool but would it be possible to get more rows (ideally customizable)? 11 is a lot but it's a bit limited for the larger trees and handling those without this tool seems impossible now.

This only works for EU4. CK3 and Imperator are built on a newer engine and framework so it wouldn’t be directly compatible.

Well I personally run 1440p and it's been fine on that resolution. I havent really gotten any complaints of resolutions issues so it hasnt come across as a increasingly needed change. Again though, if I get round to updating it at some point, I'll include any much needed QoL changes.

And having this generate any code in c++ is just not something I'd be remotely interested in doing nor do I see any actual benefits of that.

You can make it windowed by pressing alt+enter, you just can't resize it. The resolution is by default made for 1080p, anything lower may or may not work properly. The tool is in a use it or leave it sort of state, it was pretty much a 2 day project and making this tool wasn't my original intention. If I update it though, I'll keep the issues of not having proper windowed mode and not being able to change resolutions in mind.

The tool itself doesn’t work for multiplayer because it’s a developer tool. Mods made with it do.

This tool is used to plan and then export the created missions into working files, which are then used in a mod so yes, it works for both mp and sp as any mod would.
