Gassy Moos can now reproduce—sort of. Once a domesticated Moo has consumed enough Gas Grass, they belt out operatic moos that echo across the galaxy, which attracts a new member to that asteroid's herd via the infamous Gassy Mooteor.' @ Song of the Moo
1. Gassy Moos are now renewable, just not by reproduction.
They fall from the sky via "Gassy Mooteors", which obsoletes this mod somewhat. There is still a use case for this mod if you prefer to ranch them through traditional means.
2. Gassy Moo population runs rampant on the Moo Moonlet
Because Gassy Moos now renewably fall from the sky and this mod makes wild Moos reproduce, having this mod installed will have runaway growth to the gassy moo population on the surface of the planet. If this mod made Moos get "cramped" somehow, this would be avoided.
3. Removing this mod crashes the game on old savefiles when clicking on a critter dropoff point.
I think this is because the mod adds the _baby_ version of the Gassy Moo, whereas the standard DLC game doesn't have baby moos. I see messages in the player.log about a missing sprite for "MooBaby".
(I don't have the DLC currently)
