Hi. I have a problem. The characteristics of all weapons in the game have become extremely small, like range 0, damage 1-1, etc. I play on 3.12.5. I disabled other mods, it did not help. I really want to play with this mod, I would be grateful if you tell me how to solve this problem

I didn't change anything fundamental about accuracy (although some of the base values are slightly different). For tracking, I swapped the modifiers for each component from "ship_tracking_add" to "ship_tracking_mult". For an example you can look in common/component_templates/00_bc_utilities_roles.txt for how this was handled for the different combat computers.

If someone just wanted the change to how Accuracy/Tracking is handled...what file handles that?

I use a lot of mods, and I'm pretty sure there'll be compatibility issues.

I thought it might be the weapon CSV file, but it looks identical to the vanilla version of it. With only formatting changes (ie 10.00 changed to 10).

Yeah sorry, it's too much upkeep to have multiple versions. They all have to be updated individually when Paradox pushes a new patch.

It would very likely take a patch to make them play nicely. I love downscaled ships too much to sacrifice, so may have to drop this. It's a good mod, super unfortunate.

Not familiar with RealSpace but it looks like it changes the system scaling (and probably the range) of weapons. Unfortunately not much I can do about this.

It would appear the issue arises with this mod and RealSpace 3.9. When its put below it, the mod works as its intended, but has crazy range (IE can attack from across the star system) but if put before, the range works fine on vanilla weapons but any from your mod have 0 range and 1000 damage. That's incredibly unfortunate.

@Kasel any mod that touches a specific file "weapon_components.csv" will cause problems. My guess is another mod edited this file. Glad you figured it out, though.

The only other mod that could possibly cause it is ASB Ironman, but thats supposed to be purely graphical. I moved this mod to the bottom of the load order and it seems like it corrected the issue.

@AberrantMan I just pushed a new version that should resolve issues with the specializations and nanite/cosmogenesis ships. I don't have a good save file to test this with so please let me know if it continues to have problems.

@StefanAoBzh It will work with Amazing Space Battles but it may "double dip" on the speed change events, since they have a similar implementation (increase in ship health and a decrease in fire rate). You'll have to try it and see if it's too much. Did you figure out the issue with weapons not firing?

I can't build cosmogenesis ships because the new special slot has no components available and nanite ships are still the default ones.

All computers have a certain set of ships they are allowed to be installed on (including the Vanilla ones, not just the Tactical ones). So, it would depend on what mod you are trying to use and which shiptypes it adds. AFAIK, there's no way to make a universal one.
