Alright! I found the issue for splotchy textures for myself, at least. Probably the same issues others have been raising.

The problem is Detailed Textures Pack - Faithful

The file in particular is "colormap_all.dds"

If you deactivate this mod, the same splotchy texture issue shows up on black rag shirts. I pulled that file from the mod and everything is peachy now, the rag shirts without this mod and the pants this mod adds.

colormap_all.dds is located in

Any patch for clipping issues?

textures seem to be weird splotchy black and grey for me too

greenlander and scorchlander both sexes. The clipping shows on left thigh during run and combat animations.

This mod is cool but I am having issues with the textures. they don't appear like they do in the photos. The patterns are a mix of black and grey. Is there any way to fix it?

At long last I finished up and published the robe top mod! (You can find it on my workshop page)

For those looking for an alternative for the top shown in the pictures here, you could try the armored gi and amrored sandogasa mods if you want some defense stats, daisho mod also works well with this to get that ronin look.

so they've disappeared... sad... I really want that robe. Hope the modder is okay though :(

Any plans on adding an overlap mesh so these pants can be used with long ackets, robes, and HN armor setups?

well shaaen it says basically everywhere but can also be crafted at a bench.

clips right through left leg on humanoids, clips through knees on shek.
I could also use version with no cut efficiency.

beautiful mod, perfect for my ronin character, personally I think it should be weaker then the samurai pants as the samurai pants looks more leathery and this looks more fabric. Ever thought about making a kimono or a yukata?

Do you think you can do Acord's faction shields as well? Great content as always!

I just wanna say that I love the look of your mods. A lot of mods claim to stick to the vanilla aesthetic, and some do so with varying degrees of success, but your mods feel truly vanilla to me. Amazing work, I can't wait to see more.

Pripyat, I agree Omo's items could work nicely as a Vanilla Aesthetic Patch. Coincidentally its the first mod I worked on however I didn't at the time patch it I simply edited his mod for my own use by adding a shop where the items were sold. Its definitely on my list for re-texturing as well as I think his meshes are expertly made much better than I can do but a few of the textures feel a bit out of place in Kenshi.

You should do some Omo items stuff, that way people can actually get the items in game (since he deleted the omo shop you're supposed to buy them from anyway) and get a nice retexture to fit within the game's style

The Robe used in the preview?

Gotta say, your mods are really cool, adding that extra flavor of feudal japan to the game.

The worn out shorts have alot of clipping problems on every race and no matter the shape of the legs, for example the thighs almost always stick out. It honestly seems like they were supposed to fit like drifters pants and monk pants but the devs simply forgot to rig them.

I love what you are doing to keep with the vanilla aesthetics, and the ronin clothpants work very well.

Lyn, not sure if I can help you with that one there are a few other people who are following the workshop so I assume must be something wrong on your end.

Keyboard, what do you think needs changing? I'm not really familiar with that item. If you let me know I might be up for it as I'm also currently having a look at making some adjustments to the Monk pants (I don't like the way the are tight at the top yet flared at the bottom).

Could you possibly fix the mesh of the worn out shorts ?

Steam is doing something weird where I can't follow your workshop page. Guess I just need to check back every week or two, manually?

Ты дурак, I don't make new starts for my item mods as I don't want to clutter peoples game start lists. However setting up a custom game start yourself is very easy to do after a short google.

As for making a mod that adds these guys to the world I intend to do that in the future after I have released a couple more item mods. - A new faction mod may also be a suitable mod to include a new start with.

Gevurah, I had the same thought myself originally however the Samurai Clothpants which this item is the same as stat wise is crafted at the leather armour crafting station. - While it may not make full sense it matches the functionality of the existing game.

Wah, glad you like it, it is something I had wanted for a long time too! The coloured robe top is another mod of mine that is currently in progress - yet to be released, I hope to make a few colour variations with patterns etc on them. If you follow my workshop you should be able to see when I publish it in the future! :)
