I'm one of the SMG4 wiki admin and I like to document and credit gmod maps on episodes page. I sometimes goes to said map page and leave a nice comment so that at least the mapmakers feels that their work is appreciated and used by the community.

This map was used in the video "SMG4: Let’s Go Visit Peach!" Despite having alot of prop, some areas such as the crates are recognizable.

Yeah, it needs EP1 and EP2 (as listed in description) since it was made with GMods game-mounting in mind. Don't believe HL2DM supports EP1 and EP2 outside of pre-packed textures in the .bsp.

Very nice, I would have liked to play it on my hl2 coop server. Unfortunately some textures are missing.

9/10. Amazing experience. I used the NVG from the underhell mod, so I didn't have to deal with the darkness. I also noclipped through the platforming segment.

Although this map had some serious flaws, it was overall GREAT, I can wait to see the sequel.

I have to agree with everyone else about the crawling segments being too lengthy. It also doesn't help that like 80% of the map is pitch black. Even with the flashlight enabled, it's still hard to see around some areas (I even had to restart the map because I accidentally dropped one of the bombs and couldn't find it through all the darkness.) Despite that though, I have really been enjoying this series! System was easily the best one so far. I can't wait to see the next installment!

9/10, very long crouch areas. I liked the having to find blast charges, but they were too far in the tunnels in my opinion. Achieved a good Half-Life feel.
Bring back Reece in the last and I'll give you a bagel.

strange, didn't get a notification from your response. i rate it a 9/10, reduced score from the long crawl-spaces and the absurdly large parkour section (which wasn't too terrible but really just absurdly big). everything else hit pretty well, even how the C4 looked! pretty creative to use the hl2 grenade for more depth and shape over just forming the entire thing with brushes, or whatever the term was (i only touched hammer for like 1 hour lol)

really good map! loved the HDR lighting on zombies with the floodlights. the only complaint i have is the crouch-space tunnels which were kinda too long for my taste, took up a lot of time. underrated zombie horde killing fun.

Yeah, very well done map. It was clearly putforth with alot of effort behind it, and was created with passion. But with this said, this is all the pleasantaries I have to say about it. I would literally rather be drowned in fast zombies in a room I fell through the ceiling to enter. Than to wander dim, dark corridors of black and gray stone matter. And die ten times trying to do platforming in the pitch dark over instant death pits. Please for the love of all that is holy, and God, the next map you make do not have too much platforming. None at all, preferably. I could chew my way through ten thousand hordes of Strangers and Swollen and Maniacs all day long, the amount of zombies in the map never bothers me. I would love it if the series finally capped a huge number of enemies to smite, thank you. Good job for your work so far, sincerely every one who has completed the series so far. (I hope my sentiments are shared atleast)

Oh? I've seen some of your other maps and whilst I've never really kept them due to the fact that I play GMod solo. I have noted that all of them have been consistent of high quality. When the Rotten series has ended, I will eagerly await and see what your projects will be. And if they happen to be anything like this one. Well I will no doubt enjoy it greatly.

There he is, the homie awatson. But yes, Rotten will be concluded bringing it to an 8 total map series, its been just about 4 years; 5 come December 2021 and it has to come to an end! Highs and lows with the series but I will definitely be going onto more ambitious project(s) after, to which I hope you'll stick around with.

Aye you are back. And so am I.
Played the map and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
First objective was a little hard to find but I got there. And goddamn there were a so many zombies in the tunnels.
Kinda sad to see the map series end in the next release...but it has been a very fun ride thus far and I am very much looking forwards to seeing how you two pull off the the finale.

Ah well. Stay safe and have as happy a year as you can.
