I think you're onto something here. Remaking and simplifying the old Avalon Hill and SPI games to be more palatable for modern audiences is a great idea. I've started working on something similar myself with custom made 3D mecha models to replace the card chits on old strategy games and simplified rules that no longer involve 6 tables to look at for every roll.

It's a really fun game! Hope you enjoy it!
