i realy love your walker !
i made many walker and mecha and maybe the legs systhem could interest you for future mech or walker as its simple compact and optimised only 2 bearing per legs, check it out !

Stranbeast walkers are by far the most practical walkers but how well does this fair in the survival mode as a mobile home? Is it possible?

If you are referring to the game I'm not sure what you are talking about, haven't played it yet, but in the Cyberpunk culture there are plenty of unique vehicles. Same as Steampunk, Raypunk, Dieselpunk, Atompunk, and Cassette Futurism all having unique vehicles stylized in that time period.
