I need to do some housekeeping and fix my descriptions, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
For the Zoe hair issue, there are a ton of solutions:
-You can seperate the materials into two obj files, upload them and use the attach tool (Easiest for a beginner)
-You could use UDK to upload them as an asset pack
-You could merge the textures and manually adjust the UV's
-You could create a texture atlas which converts all textures into a single material
-You could bake the textures into a single file (hardest option, would reserve for models without baked lighting, like wild rift models)
I don't have time to teach people how to do this themselves. There's plenty of online modeling tutorials for that, I know because that's how I first learned. If you want to get better you just gotta put in the time and effort.
As for regular League models, look into a tool called Obsidian, and another tool called lol2gltb. The first will get you access to the raw files, the second will convert them into something usable.
They require some editing in blender to make them TTS compatible, but it is more time consuming than difficult. I'm sure there's some tutorials out there if you get stuck.
This is weird, because I've USED this mod before, a long while ago, and even saved some of the models back then - and back then, it loaded perfectly fine? It's only started to cause problems now and I have no idea why.
Is there any idea why this might be?
Are you referring to the illaoi stand alone mod that have the based and animated tentacles? I was definitely aware of that one! I only asked for the sake of maintaining consistency with your models, and so that I could base the tentacle model myself - I don't really know how to unattach the base or stop the animation of the tentacles.
No criticisms either way, just explaining why I asked! Stay frosty!
it must have been hard work
I wish you could do skin
@Tyrant M'thi'ria I'll be adding in as much of that as I can. However, Illaoi's tentacles will not be added. There is a workshop out there which has them as an asset pack and does them far more justice than I can manage with regular object files.
@ReggieHammy I wasn't aware of the fish, I'll remove them next update. Basic minions will likely be added then as well. Turrets are low priority, but if I ever stumble across the files for them they'll be added.
Next you update the mod, would you be willing to add a few models if you can? Namely: Azir's soldiers and the shuriman disc tower, Illaoi's tentacles, Heimderdinger's turrets, and Eggnivia?
Keep up the good work either way!
As for the red nexus, it wasn't accompanied by any animation files, so I couldn't get it uploaded. Most of the discontinued Nexus Blitz assets are in a similar state. I'll see about managing a texture swap or something of that nature for the next update.
If you were talking about how I got the models, I extracted them from regular League of Legends installation files using Oblivion, lol2dae, and lol2gltb.
Anyone planning to extract specific skins for their favorite champs, I'd recommend lol2gltb since it keeps more of the material groupings intact. Just remember to flip the normals, and average the normals based on surface area, otherwise you get some ugly shading. If there are multiple texures involved, then import each material using the same texture as a separate object, and combine them using the attach tool.
