So I am probably not going to be the only person to think or ask this, but are you still active? And with the Armour DLC (5th May 2023) are you going to be updating the armours for 3 tiers, or adding the elements to them too?

would there be a way to add to the event of capturing a spirit that it gives the option to change the armor and not just the weapon, ive been trying to learn how the editor works myself but am getting hoplessly lost

noted: If you have the Expanded Items Armor mod, you have to delete the same files on that mod as well. You can find them at Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\763890\1925733578\assets\data\items\items

Hey guys!

If you want to delete the Tier 1 armor that basically makes the characters look like they are not wear any pants: here are the files:
hunterTraff1
hunterTraff2
hunterBark1
hunterclothes
mysticdrab1
mysticRobe1
(and the variants of these files. For example; hunterbark1fire, hunterbark1leaf, hunterbark1stone, hunterbark1water. You get the gist)

You can find these files at Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\763890\2321888303\assets\data\items\items

Do you have to unlock the individual armors to find the spirits? I only have certain elements for the different armors and I don't have any fire element ones whatsoever.

It would be nice if this mod came with a warning tha it's not enough to remove the armors mod but also this spirits one. Would've saved me a lot of time finding it by trial and error

I'm sorry to ask but is there a way to make a version of this mod that doesn't require the armors mod? I don't think that mod is bad but your armors are just too naked for me and I'm not a fan of the whole bikini armor thing, but I can't figure out how to remove the armors I don't like and I already spent days trying. Thx for the work you're doing anyway!

You should have the shields in offhands section, try to reaload the mod.

This is the mod that added the 4 elemental shields correct? because idk if it's just a conflict with my mods or not but the shields are gone for me. do you know if there are any incompatibilities that could cause this? sorry if i posted this under the wrong mod but i'm pretty sure it was one of your mods that added them

Yes, that's the only way it can be implemented as sadly new categories or subcategories of weapons/armors can not be created (neither can spirits be modded).

Hello, not sure what do you mean with "all armor of the same group unlock". You mean of the type of armor the character is wearing when catching the spirit? So if I am wearing a "balanced armor", I catch a leaf spirit, transform a sword or dagger to leaf, then "balanced armor" would unlock the leaf variant too because I was wearing that type?

The weapons look amazing but the armors and shields are a bit too jarring for me. I like their effects though. Nice mod! :reimu4:

Smoker: these look like some cool mods based on the existing game content. The character holding the Leaf shield looks like one of my recent recruits that appeared to replace one of my 80 yr old retirees. I might just have to try it on her to now she's in the legacy. (But first sleep!)

Hedgehog : My philosophy might be a bit oldskool, but I'm also open to cool mods. I really like the story that comes with the items, how they were unlocked or enchanted or what race they were made for/by the myth is a big part of why and how I play. I appreciate the artistry of that.

I also like the achievement of unlocking new things through quests, and when my last 5-chapters finished it was rewarding that the stuff I'd unlocked would be there in the future too. But I know other people like having the shiny new things now, and sometimes I do too.

If you remove the dualwield weapons inside items folder it will work without expanded weapons. They are named with a 1 after the item name file.

Yes i created the armors with a paint program, cutting and pasting, using images from the game itself like parts from weapons, simbols, anything i could find.

to Hedgehog:
It's not about the comics, its the spirit behavior that is hardcoded.

You mean activate it in a current playthrough? I dont know i never tried to apply it middle game :(. If it doesnt work there is nothing i can do, we need the Devs help.

Does this work for current playthroughs? I have a fire dagger as my main but the dual wield version of it isn't there. All hand crossbow versions are here though.

whould be interesting if the armors are not unlocked with the weapons and had theyr own unlocking procedure. is that possible to do? looked in the ingame editor and it seems you can edit comicpanels. if its possible i whould volunteer if i can help!
