Hi sorry to post on a mod that is 4 years old but they recently fixed multiplayer, should this mod still be compatible with 0.7.3? Also can I add it mid save?

Me and a friend downloaded this mod. The mods works in solo play, but we can´t join eachothers game anylonger. When we do, we get the message: D:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/ScrapMechanic/Survival/CraftingRecipes/craftbot.json (85)
What to do?

it is work in survival custom games?

@Grimlock Gingerbeard if the host and the other players who join the game have it, it should work.

does this work with multiplayer?

@Cosmonaut Go to your Scrap Mechanic's mod folder (it should be located here "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\387990"), then find a folder with the name "2308094064", you will find the files you need from this mod, copy "craftbot.json".

Then go to your steam libary and right click on "Scrap Mechanic", "Properties", "Local Files" and then "Browse Local Files..." your Scrap Mechanic folder will open, go into "Survival" folder then "CraftingRecipies" and replace the file called "craftbot.json" by the modded one.

What does it mean by copy craftbot.json from the mod folder

@The Boi if you keep the duplicated file on another folder it should be okay.

I used first method but it doesnt add the craft option for the component kit, is it okay if I keep the original file also for the craftbot, because I doubled it just to be sure.

can change use the totebot head to craft component. lots of bot head cannot depost around game.

considering my level of manual install mods is stick a fork in the toaster with the power plugged in I'm going to keep hounding these hibernating dev's for total mod support.

now I have Aspergers but even I'm not retarded enough to treat 2 game modes in the same game as separate games like these dev's seem to have done.

@arbuono Because the devs haven't added mods officialy for survival, so mods have to be installed this way. Dm me if you need any help with installation.

why is it so hard to down mods for survival

@Torkkar Survival mods aren't supported yet, it's impossible to change stuff in survival when subscribing to a mod and it'll always have to be done manually.

make it Auto install on Sub button press & then I'll think about adding this mod

@deanerton I had really no idea what ingredients to use so I used the one in the fant-mod, I likes the idea of using tote-bot heads that don't really have any other use.
