nevermind found out the issue, it was the sound muffling mod for some reason. i have no idea why it removed the sliding sound

i dont know why but the mod is playing 'sound/physics/body/body_medium_impact_soft2.wav' whenever i slide... does anyone know how to fix or if a mod could be causing this

this not only lets you slide by sprinting and crouching but also jumping and crouching

could you add an option to temporarily disable? that way if i wanna try something without it real quick (or if someone just gets annoyed by it) i can turn it off without unsubscribing from the whole addon. could be clientside per-person or serverside globally, either works for me. you can kinda do this already by making the cooldown ridiculously huge but then you can't re-enable it easily

Thank you for nerfing the slide hop. This is by far the most satisfying slide mod, but the ability to just gain infinite speed by pressing spacebar a few times was kinda... well.. annoying and "unimmersive". Feels so good to use now

it does not but if you download an addon that adds legs you can just move a bit the legs and it looks kinda like quickslide infact i do it

Might be an idea to add the sliding_ability_threshold command to the mod description, I modified my player speed not realising that would affect the mod, great work tho, love it.

I discovered a new time of bhopping you can do with this mod.
Hold crouch and jump. Basically accelerate forward hopping.

it might just be because i have the instant movement mod which removes all acceleration,you still can do it

ok maybe we dont need a option,you can just tweak the settings but u cant no longer gain speed like ur bhopping while sliding

if you slide on water while spamming jump you can keep your momentum and slide across the water like a madman,just these 2 bugs are probably the coolest ♥♥♥♥ ever and should not be removed,also no server uses this mod

Can we get input buffering for slides? The crouch slide is quite hard to do and I don't want to change my keybinds. Even if I did, not having input buffering for this makes it hard to consistently pull it off.
