if you're gonna have cauldrons replace items at LEAST make it so that it 100% smelts the trinket...
I made a mod that gives leaky cauldrons a chance to appear in special rooms:

I think a good balance change would be making it use cost like 7 cent and maybe reducing the chance to destroy the trinket to around 10-15% or not at all. Just my two (seven) cents.
1. request though could you upload 2 different versions, one with 50% and 33% chance
Further ideas feel free to ignore: Could also start it high like 60 or 75% but the more you contribute to it decrease the chance of loosing it. Could also cap the uses randomly like beggers and slot machines and donation machines.
