Can you tell me what the bypass tracks are for, and why are they different than the normal quad track? The lane connectors are confusing me - I just want a track that goes v^v^ and not vv^^

I would very much like to apologize for my absence, I have only recently been able to get a functioning computer again, and I CANNOT get cities skylines to work at anymore. I will go through and fix these things if I can figure it out, but for right now I am stumped. The game is completely broken for me

The tracks do function with quad tracked stations but the textures are still missing on some connections. Would it be possible to link to or add a draggable network so we can draw in missing tracks where needed

Hi, Can you please fix the tunnel portion of it, add led lights inside and also make it so I can see other trains inside while im riding my train inside???

Thank you. Just what I was looking for. Just needed to alter it in the editor so forward and backward alternate, now I can have local and external lines run next to each other. (Using another mod to regulate which go on which tracks)

Hello,

This is amazing, making my mainlines look more realistic.
But there is a problem, every time there is a railway connecting to the mainline, the trains would switch to the outside track to the inside (and vise versa) without there being a junction which would allow them to do so!
Pls fix this and keep up the great work!

The train only go trough the middle 2 lanes, they never go through the other 2 lanes in the edge of this....

some one was talking about one way two lane tram tracks... i was able to make 1 way 2-lane train tracks in the asset editor easy by changing the lanes property forward.

This asset saved my city of 75K+ which had trains blocking each other because oh huge queues at intersections. Reccomend TM:PE to assign lanes though.

May I ask another question: I am working on some 1 way 2 lane tram tracks for myself right now, but can't figure out how to get the correct transitions to the vanilla tracks. So far, I always used "import from another road" when I was adding nodes. However, for tram tracks there doesn't seem to be a fitting node in the game. I was looking for some information or a guide on how to make your own nodes, but couldn't find anything. Can you recommend any tutorials or so?

I'll see if I can do the 1 way 2 lane transition, kinda forgot them, BP's station tracks don't have a compatible transition so I can't fix it on my end, some of the earlier comments go over this

Hey! Finally the tracks I need. Thanks for the great work.

I am also using the two lane one-way tracks of BloodyPenguin in my network (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=724382534) . The transitions from quad-track to 2 two lane one-ways works, but the tracks are invisible. Guess its the same problem as with the quad-stations. Any chance this could be fixed easier?

use a standard railroad track to transition to vanilla train stations, they have a different connect group(train station) so connecting directly would be... problematic

Great work updating these! They visually work on ground tracks.

Unfortunately they still don't visually connect to Badpeanut's elevated stations.

Okay i’m glad that worked, it took me all morning to figure out how unbreak them AND apply the new textures without re-uploading them entirely

I do apologize if your pillars disappeared, newly placed tracks have the correct pillars, but I think the old ones might have disappeared.

Thanks for making this! Would just like to note that in addition to having *visual* issues connecting to bypass station tracks, this also does not seem to play well (visually) connecting to one-way tracks.

So I shuffled my mods again and it all started working(kind of) so I guess I’ll continue as before? Idk. I think I kind of retraced your steps when I did these, you extended and re-UVed the vanilla models or did you do something else?

if you're trying to copy the whole prefab with modtools and then saving it, before you save unset the m_lanes value. It will remove the lanes from the prefab but otherwise you will be able to save it - then you just need to re add the lanes back in as you normally would with the correct parameters

Aye, so I've seen. I can't find any of properties, settings, or anything else that would be causing it, so I've determined that it's just CSL doing what it does, and starting from scratch seems to be the only way to fight that XD

So I’m actually having issues getting bad peanut’s bypass and dual island tracks to show up in the asset editor in any capacity, so I’ve said screw it, I’ll just make my own. Heck maybe I’ll just make my own stations, even underground ones too

Thanks for this great addition to the workshop. I have been waiting for this for so long. It works, it supports TMPE features such as lane directions and vehicle restrictions and it connects to Bad Peanut stations equipped for quad tracks. As the author mentioned, the rail tracks do not use the same textures as Bad Peanut stations, so transitions are not nice-looking, but they are fully functional.

Actually got some work done on that today, made a full quad crossover and a bunch of other transition nodes for station tracks, so shouldn’t be too long

Okay I added Bad Peanut's set of bypass station tracks as a requirement because the powerline props are his, subbing to that should fix your error there.

If anything is invisible could you shoot me a screenshot of the piece in question? I want to jump on those

Regarding the bypass stations, I’ve updated the description with a note.

As far as non-vanilla tracks go, I’ve been experimenting with my own textures and I would like to make a variety a very nice looking tracks, matching the vanilla Tracks was the starting point
