Hi, Ive downloaded the mod and for some reason it seems to keep crashing my skyrim. This is deffienetly the mod causing my skyrim to crash. Anyone know how to solve the problem?

Ok, I have the required mod, but it still crashes on start up... Is there something else thats needed? or maybe any known conflicting mods? I dont have any mods that have anything to do with Shor's Stone. maybe conflicting with other follower mods?

I took the plunge and downloaded all the files needed. I really started to feel guilty for all the female characters I make and take as companions (since it was way easier to find high res textures for them and such) so now I have this guy hanging around. I probably shouldn't feel guilty, but I did. :p

Anyway, I've gleefully added this to my Skyrim Mods collection here on Steam!

No prob! Anyway to help out! It took me awhile to figure out manual installations of mods lol. It can be confusing at times. :)

O.K., thanks. I have the mod manager, but I got a message that I couldn't "download with manager", that's why I did it "manually", then I got the message that the files couldn't go in "program files". The files did take forever to load, like, 2 hours. But I didn't over-ride the Steam Skyrim meshes, etc., so I will try that. Instead, I copied & pasted into a new file. With this new Windows, I have trouble finding things, "control panel" & stuff are in different places & usually "search" wants to look at apps & douments.
Probably it's the graphics card though, that's what I've read in the Forums.
Thanks for putting it in terms I can understand. Most modders start using a bunch of initials. I don't even know what a GIF is.

It is possible that your labtop graphics card can't handle the the high quality textures. It takes time for that to load so it might give your labtop some problems. It is the easiest to use the Nexus Mod Manager - it is a free program. After you install that, all you do is hit "download with manager" on each file you need (the blocky faces, younger faces..etc) and use the nexus manager to complete. However, if you don't want the nexus mod manager, you download the files manually, then unzip the files. You have to copy and paste the files in your Skyrim directory, usually that is c:/programfiles/steam/steam/apps/common/skyrim/data. You are overwritting the skyrim meshes and textures with these folders (well, only it is overwritting the male textures and meshes.) Again, it might be that your labtop is taking a beating with the graphics, but the files just might be in the wrong place too.

I wonder if you can help me. I'm a newbie, (think: your mom). When I tried to load the "suggested" mods, the new faces (nomoreblockyfaces, etc) and nudes (by the way, OMG),
my laptop can't seem to take it. I can't put them in "program files" so I tried to make a file for them in my c drive, but I guess my computer thought they were 'Word" files or something. Can you tell me how to do this, talking as if you are explaining it to someone over 50 who never has used computers? if not, no problem. It could be because I don't have those cards or whatever. I need to use low quality detail, whatever it's called.

Lol yeah that is the main reason why I got into modding male followers. All of the Vanilla Skyrim male companions are ugly and the modding community focuses heavily on female followers.

That's what I'm talking about...I was getting so sick of the "warrior ho's" & mini-skirted followers. Finally, something for the ladies.

I would export her as a follower but I've been having CBBE face pack issues when I export the textures. Whenever I figure it out (might be weeks) I will upload her to steam. :)
