Ah bummer, doesn't seem to work anymore.

Does this still work? I couldn't make it work on 1.8

@Lord Star Auto-disinherited from their father or mother? If mother has been disinherited it should in theory only impact the mother.
Lord Star Jun 5, 2023 @ 9:13pm
I just want to confirm that children of concubine will be auto disinherited

@Chlodio I see now. Thank You for your Hard Work! :steamthumbsup::steamhappy:
Chlodio  [author] May 14, 2023 @ 6:40am
@CozA It should, you can test it out by going to debug mode, selecting a Viking character and using the debug menu to imprison a female ruler. If it provides you with a option to make the female ruler your concubine, it works.

1.9.0.3 compatible?
Ēarendel Apr 3, 2023 @ 7:16pm
Doesn't work on 1.8.1
CozA Jul 15, 2022 @ 5:21am
1.6 compatible?

@Asellus_Magnus nah they probably did it because players playing female rulers would hate being deposed and disinherited just bc they got imprisoned, same would apply if they allowed male rulers be deposed and disinherited bc of that too so that's the more likely reason why they decided to just not deal with it.

@azwildcats88

Paradox doesnt want to represent evil aspect of medieval reality , it might hurt the feelings of some soy-consuming individuals

Lol, why couldn't they do something like this for CK2? It shouldn't matter if the prisoner is a queen or a peasant, if I'm a savage barbarian warlord all I care about is might makes right.

@Gliese581 now it is.
Gliese581 Nov 26, 2020 @ 2:26pm
1.2 compatible?
SkyDragon Oct 16, 2020 @ 1:01am
Well, that is a bummer. I understand where you are coming from with that idea. But there were different type of concubines and not all required to be captured and imprisoned beforehand. I would suggest to make a religious rule where you can choose: prisoner, willing, or both.
Chlodio  [author] Oct 15, 2020 @ 12:04pm
That isn't a bug, I just forgot to include it as part of description. The idea is to turn them into something resembling idea of the cariye.
kosmokrator Oct 15, 2020 @ 11:23am
another bug note - with this mod active i can no longer make non-imprisoned courtiers into concubines
EnigmaticRose4 Oct 14, 2020 @ 8:16am
It's not a setting to really be used when achievement hunting, though it is ironman compliant. It's still a setting the devs wouldn't have put in without assuming people would play with it.
Prince George Oct 14, 2020 @ 7:50am
Ignore Mr.PC it was an honest mistake on your part.
Chlodio  [author] Oct 14, 2020 @ 7:39am
To be honest I didn't think any person would use that setting.
EnigmaticRose4 Oct 14, 2020 @ 7:31am
Understandable since not many can with the historical start. Though I have an honest question, no insult intended, but what did you think happened when you switched the game rules to inverted for gender? Or was it just something you didn't think about?
Chlodio  [author] Oct 13, 2020 @ 4:31pm
Because I didn't even know female rulers could take consorts.
EnigmaticRose4 Oct 13, 2020 @ 4:23pm
Hey, your mod works well, but, please explain to me why you specify only female rulers and concubines when it works just as well for male rulers and consorts? I'm really quite curious.
