I would like to add the fact that this mod fits well in the world of Kenshi! The concept of Crab Folk using a very specific and pure steel alloy to make crab limbs in order to fit in with the crabs is quite brilliant!

If Kenshi 2 ever appears... I hope Crab folks will exist and have these bulky prosthetic limbs!

@Bobby sure as long as I'm properly credited, mainly for the Assets, if it's like any crab raider town/squad tweaks, I'm not really stingy on claiming "that's my work" since it's only just to get the new Assets working.

Oh Snap, that's crazy. I guess I'll have to brush the dust off the blender project for the limbs, since I was in the middle of redoing the small arm mesh when I had to shelve it.

That's fine I have nothing against translations. I think the FCS even allows for creating a mod that is just translations.

The athletics debuff on legs is a bit much. Crab Raiders are already slow because of crabs, so this feels terrible on travels. Also I think the hammer is too heavy. The limbs and the weapon designs are good though.

I've been meaning to redo the models and textures.. Again. But the idea of them giving a Dex Debuff is because they're made to be heavy and strong (like industrial equipment)

I've currently been modding other games, so I'm bogged down with projects.

I know this probably won't get seen, but I was thinking; considering how sharp the crab limbs are, shouldn't they get a dexterity bonus instead of a debuff? Or maybe an absolutely crazy unarmed damage bonus? Would be cool to have a martial arts build that tosses out stealth and speed for raw power. Still, great mod, very crabby. :beeped:

Uploaded a patch, this was to fix the issue of not being able to craft the new crab limbs at a Skeleton Limb Workbench, even if you researched it from the blueprints.

I bought and used the blueprint but i'm still not seeing them in the limbs bench. I'll check a few things on my end as well to see if maybe one of my other mods is somehow interfering as well to be safe.

They are a blueprint only right now, and you can get the blueprints from Crab Smiths (shop) I could create a "research it yourself" method I suppose. But they should show up in the Crafting Category once you read the blueprint.

If you used the blueprint and still can't find it. I'll look into it, as maybe I've missed a step somewhere and I'll patch that ASAP if that's the case.

i'm having trouble finding where the limbs would be crafted at. Would it just be the regular limbs bench?I'll admit i'm super new at crafting limbs so do i maybe need to unlock specialist limbs before they'll show?

It should be compatible. The only thing that would be missing would be the new troops having robotic limbs, a patch would be needed to be made so that would work.

My weapons and new weapon material will be in the crab shops separate from the weapons and texture created in Crab Raiders Expanded (they'll be sold side by side with no issue, also no bleeding between the two)

If anything just some weapons and robot limbs will not be completely distributed to the new stuff in CRE without a patch.

I'd probably load this before CRE (if you're using Kenshi's built in mod order system) that way CRE's changes will have order authority over CRP

Haha I just wanted to create something to flesh out Crab Raiders a bit more without being too intrusive, I do have a Crab Robot thing in the process but the going on is has slowed down, as there is some RL stuff going on at the moment.

I know I had to redo the suspension springs too. Glad you like it. Let me know if there are any pressing issues (Balancing of stats, or more glaring bugs)

eh I figured the robo crab would be something more for the skeleton empire rebuilt mod. maybe some weirdo skeletons that choose to worship the crab after Cat-Lon conquers the crab raiders. Though I haven't been on the kenshi community discord in quite some time not since the kicked most the skeleton cult discord members off.

On the Kenshi Discord the idea was entertained. I don't think I'll be making a skeleton crab, I like the idea more of a skeleton centaur (Robotic Crab lowerbody, human-like upperbody)

Something akin to a Mirelurk from Fallout, combined with Urgot from LoL. But made from all metal. I'll probably release that as it's own standalone mod, as I wouldn't see the Raiders making it, but it could be something they've found and were inspired by it's design (and it being crab-like already)

Not sure when I'll put real time into that idea, as I am split between quite a few projects already (some that may never see the light of day)

Most likely I'll add those to crab smith vendor lists (blueprints), The weapon grade I'm not going to allow, as since it's just slightly above Catun Scrap masters everyone will skip past it for skeleton smiths and higher.

Next update will most likely include the blueprints for sale

My mod will complain about a load order issue. I'm working on fixing this. You can load the mod just fine. It's trying to say another one of my mods has something it wants. But it's not using anything from said mod.

Hopefully I can fix this annoying message soon.

Day 1 Patch is out, just like those $80 dollar games do.
New Weapon, New Weapon Grade, and a Crab Raider Captain that uses it.
