It works guys. I had 16 children and wifes stopped to become pregnant but after I installed they started again.

considering I had 105 children with my last character I'm going to says its working as intended.

31 of those where with 1 wife with my mods I can make twins much more common (for certain bloodlines and characters)

Should still be functional after the lastest update. Please do inform me if this is not the case.

Nucleus all it does is go to the defines and change the child limits to a impossibly high number for players. And removes the lowered fertility for every female after pregnancy. It changes nothing else. Age still lowers fertility, every female pregnancy does not lower pregnancy, number of consorts are irrelevant.

Does this mod remove the:
>Variable fertility penalty based on age?
>5% fertility penalty for each woman's prior children?
>The maximum child limit of 9 9+2/(wife or consort) for men?
>The maximum child limit of 9 for women?

And: do are the above fertility limiters removed only for the player character, or also for the player character's wives/concubines/lovers?

It has the "*.*.*" version, so it should not appear as out of date. I've been using this is my own games and can confirm it works.

Mod needs to be updated. It doesnt seem to be working in 1.8

Wasn't working even before the update. You can change it manually in your game files using notepad. The child limit can be found in the 00_defines. Just don't make it some crazy number or remove it completely. 100 should be more then high enough

@aierum You need a mod that takes the stress out of all your immediate family with one click

Works fine, but there is a danger to get cascade of child deaths if your character has a legion of children. When a child dies it causes stress increase for other siblings, so after some initial amount of deaths (in battles, from age, deseases, childbirthes, murders, etc) other sibling accumulate so much stress that an avalanche of deathes starts. My king had about 350 children (50 yo and younger) and more than 200 of them died in a half a year at some point.

Alright so did some testing. You cannot use this mod with an old save. It messes up the fertility levels somehow. On my character I got 3 kids total, all of them through seducing my wife and concubines. However when I started a new game. It worked. At 50 I'm sitting with 40 kids.

This seemed to have the exact opposite. Player character only had 3 children total.

So if you are using this with a mod that keeps females fertile forever such as an immortal trait mod the PC would be able to have infinite children but would the immortal spouse cap out at 15 or would they be able to keep having children with the PC? TLDR: Does this require you to cycle spouses to keep having kids?

That sounds like another mod; this mod does not alter female pregnancy ages.

i like this mod but its also kinda annoying when 60yr old women start giving birth, like that shouldnt be possible. menopause should definitely be a thing

fixed it myself by downloading anti stress cascade.

Before I download spouse designer mod I use this mod without mass character child dies, for no apparent reason but after downloading that mod there’s a mass character child dies (even after disabling the spouse designer & after northern army DLC).
Is there any fix to that thing?

Thanks for the heads up, I'll keep an eye out for future patches, especially this upcoming one.

Any issues from the November patch are likely from Paradox changing the structure of the 00_defines.txt file in that update. Apparently it effected Mercs and money according to a mod author who made a similar mod. Just something to watch out for in the future, I guess?

Yeah, I'll update it, but it should always be compatible, no matter what the version number says.

The Sultan of Morroco is said to have sired 1,000. Genghis Khan is said to have a harem of 2 to 3 thousand so hey when he wasn't stacking skulls in the shape of pyramids before razing the city it appears he was banging something. Compared to them 100 is milk toast.

So...as I've said before, I've played with this mod. And I've got to say that it's kinda ridiculous. I'm only 50 years old and I've got 61 kids. It was a nightmare. I bet I could make 100 babies by the time I reach 80. To be fair, I gave myself fecund, lustful, with a religion with polyamory and carnal exaltation.
