I made an update version because things got added to the default file in 1.10 update and again with 1.11 update so things were missing. Updated version can be found here https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3080427285 I will keep that one up to date like I do my other mods.

This is the best mod. Works flawlessly, looks beautiful, and a must have.

The mod still works. Users need to learn to just try stuff out before asking for updates. It says its abandoned, but it's working just fine.

the mod seems to work for me when enabled with just it and a cheat mod. I am unsure if it will work with other mods, but as is it seems to work.

No need to rename the files. Dropping the contents of the output folder into where you got the input from should work.

If nothing was generated in an Output folder then the script probably did not find anything that it was looking for. If you think that the yml files do contain titles then there are lists (T0 - T4) that tell what the script is looking for near the top of python file.

Need a little help:
how exactly does this work with the python script ? I have downloaded the files from github - also have the corresponding *.yml file in the "input" folder - what now ? After starting TitleNameColorer.py, unfortunately nothing happens !??

Great mod! "Caliphs" seem to be colored as an empire tier though.

@Licarious Fenrir it worked like a charm. CTP seems to work perfect. but with CNP some of the arabic titles didn't work with it. (more testing needed) (they stayed white. I checked the new file from the "output folder", and some titles seem to be missing from the it (there is no #tier4 at all for example)

I'll keep looking into that. but just wanted to say how appreciated your help is. I felt magic when I looked at all those weird titles from CTP in colors!

It should be as easy as coping the contente of the localization folder of a mod that adds new title names into the Input folder, then run TitleNameColorer.py, finally copy the contente of Output folder into this mods or a new submods localization folder.

I don't understand if the script is supposed to be used by other modders or by us gamers. any tip on how to use it would be much appreciated.

I didn't like how this mod didn't work with the title included in mods like Community Name Packs and Community Title Project. So I threw together a python script that adds the tags this mod used to title from other mods. If anybody what to use it here is the link.

Is there a way to change colours not just for character but titles too? I mainly installed this to easily see who I'd be allied with in marriage screen, but the colours don't show there

Good mod but the blue is very hard to see in some cases, a stronger colour for dukes would be cool

Does this mod also change the text color for the position in messages, etc.? For example, when I get a scroll from a king, the word King in his title is in gold. Is that from this mod?

@PhazezGova he hasn't made the colour change for the titles in other languages. Pretty obvious but yea...

count_feudal_male_norse is #tier1, not #tier2

kingdom_feudal_grand_duke_independent is not a character, so no #tier3 at all unless you wanna color all titles, too.

iranian_group and brittany got both three more entries, including two characters each.

#Princes (children of Kings/Emperors, sorted by culture) are either #tier3 and #tier4, when the tag ends on "_empire".

see 00_title_holders.txt:
ecumenical_patriarch is #tier3 - k_orthodox
caliph is #tier2 - d_sunni d_shiite
archduke is #tier3 - k_austria
title_prince is #tier3 - k_switzerland k_armenian_principalit
