The Decision does not appear if you are an adventurer, after I removed the "is_valid_showing_failures_only" condition, it appeared again.

i'm only playing this mod, but the game crashing when i chose the age

Restore body and mind doesn't enable until you have something that hinders you, like a missing limb. Once you make yourself or another immortal, the only other option you can change is your age.

Other options only appear during specific moments, like enabling another one lifetime event like Holy War and Making a New Faith.
dark.requiem.7 Apr 29 @ 12:34pm
I'm not seeing the restore body or other decisions aside from immortality.

Updated for 1.16.0. There were changes made for modding, but I don't think any of them touched this mod. I'm in my end of semester crunch though, so no time for testing.
monnoboy Apr 11 @ 9:56pm
Still works fine for me as of 4/11/25. No crashes or bugs encountered on my part even with my other 33 mods installed.

If just changing the version number on it doesn't work for your totally legitimate copy of CK3 1.12.5, just browse through the github, try some earlier commits. This one might work for you, with a version number edit in descriptor.mod. https://github.com/paige404/CK3_Immortality/tree/a78dfc72007fc3129f5f07573fcc4c1a64549cb6
NikoAtHeart Feb 14 @ 1:18pm
is there a way i can find a version for 1.12.5, or should this still work? I have a few buggy decisions in the decisions menu, and im not sure if its this mod or not (i am using it with EK2, this is the only mod that isn't for that same version of ck3.)

Sadly the baldness issue is a genetic trigger. If you browse the comments here people have found ways to fix it in the console, but I'm not sure how it would be done in the mod.

Also noticed these in the error log while checking something else.

[23:52:13][E][pdx_persistent_reader.cpp:216]: Error: "Unexpected token: murder_scheme_success_chance, near line: 8" in file: "common/traits/immortality.txt" near line: 8
[23:52:13][E][pdx_persistent_reader.cpp:216]: Error: "Unexpected token: murder_scheme_resistance_add, near line: 9" in file: "common/traits/immortality.txt" near line: 9

Depends on how much effort it would be. Having choices at 10 year intervals would be nice, if not, common ages would be 40 and 50.
Also noticed that hair seems to age and bald while the rest of the character remains as set, not sure if this can be prevented.
Paige 404  [author] Dec 30, 2024 @ 2:45pm
Yeah. Got any in mind?
Demon King Dec 30, 2024 @ 2:43am
Could you add more ages to the age selection decision?
Paige 404  [author] Dec 3, 2024 @ 10:58am
I don't maintain any Polish version, lol. If there's a separate Polish version of this mod out there, then some idiot copied and translated it themselves to post as a separate mod.

If you want Polish localization added to this mod, the github is always accepting pull requests.
Dominik_nolove Dec 3, 2024 @ 10:35am
update to new Polish version pls
Druss Nov 26, 2024 @ 5:23am
i found the probleme, the immortality trait that was used by the option "grant immortality" was th one added bye the mod Oriental empire, so i juste had to remove the -1.0 in front of fertility in the file ^^ sorry to have though it was from youre mod and thanks for youre work
Druss Nov 26, 2024 @ 4:55am
Hum, i launched the game with youre mod desactivated and the immortality trait with -100% fertility is still here so it's not from youre mod, sorry ^^

Is the logo from youre mod is the same as the one in the base game?
Paige 404  [author] Nov 25, 2024 @ 10:50pm
That's bizarre. There's nothing about the trait that should do that. Are you sure you're using the trait from the mod, and not the trait that has since been added to the base game? Or a trait from another mod?
Druss Nov 25, 2024 @ 10:26pm
Hello, when i use the immortality from you're mod it set the fertility a -100% is there a way to remove it?
Juldnärr Nov 15, 2024 @ 12:05pm
Did crusader Kings already update again?
Paige 404  [author] Nov 6, 2024 @ 1:03am
It is done. Also, new Spanish and Italian localizations thanks to WaiYanMHein. See the change notes for more details.
Cornelius Nov 5, 2024 @ 9:13am
Hi, could you please update for 1.14.0.1?
Revok Oct 21, 2024 @ 2:33pm
Making an immortal Don Juan. He's a god of fertility and will f* the whole world
brdfrd Oct 20, 2024 @ 6:29pm
Hi! I'm looking to marry my 60+ immortal Queen. Physically and fertility wise, she's 20, but the AI won't accept marriages to her due to thinking she's too old and not fertile, but this shouldn't be the case! Could you add the fix to this to the mod? <3 <3
Altumnus Oct 14, 2024 @ 2:49am
@Jeager1127: Balding is part of the genes added in during 1.12, confirmed bug by Paradox ( https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/receding-hair-and-immortality.1628943/post-29899506 ).

You can fix it yourself by making a backup of "Crusader Kings III\game\common\genes\09_genes_special_misc.txt", then search for 'baldness' and change the three associated index to 0.

If you're on v1.13.1.2, use line 9 for reference and change lines 36, 44, 53 to match that of line 9.

Fix provided by 'hamletsdead' ( https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/receding-hair-and-immortality.1628943/post-29549497 ).
Jean Cousteau Oct 13, 2024 @ 5:30am
It's ok thanks for the mod:winter2019happyyul:
Paige 404  [author] Oct 12, 2024 @ 11:23pm
Hm, that still shouldn't be happening. I don't have time to investigate it though.
Jean Cousteau Oct 12, 2024 @ 10:35pm
Good point. I had used another mod that numerically changed the age in the game. The mod is great at removing the bad statuses though.

Yea they passed from old age but it's ok bc they were like 277 years old lol
Jeager1127 Oct 12, 2024 @ 8:08pm
Is there a way not to make my character go bald?
Paige 404  [author] Oct 12, 2024 @ 7:46pm
Your age doesn't change because that's not how time works silly. Yes, you choose your appearance.

Are you positive your character died of old age and wasn't murdered? Look over the dead character again.
Jean Cousteau Oct 12, 2024 @ 3:58pm
Changes appearance but not age, and characters still die of old age lol
sarifosforlu Oct 11, 2024 @ 11:56am
I can't grant immortality like I used to. Am I doing something wrong? Before, I was able to grant immortality to other characters, but now the option doesn’t appear when I click on the characters.
Beretor Oct 11, 2024 @ 6:01am
Thank you for your work
Paige 404  [author] Oct 7, 2024 @ 12:13am
Yeah man, maybe. Not sure how to remove your bald genes with the immortal trait though.
dglover195 Oct 6, 2024 @ 1:23pm
shouldnt the mod stop you from losing your hair loss to age?
攒钱抽龙狙 Oct 3, 2024 @ 11:39am
Restore body decision still not shown for some reason
Luka_Pooka Oct 2, 2024 @ 5:33am
Correction, I don't think any of the "once per lifetime" reset decisions work.
Luka_Pooka Oct 2, 2024 @ 5:27am
I noticed that I cannot refresh the "once per lifetime" cooldown on Kingdom Holy Wars. Is that intentional?
Merloga Sep 29, 2024 @ 6:21pm
Yoyo, just noticed the new vanilla immortal has a flag that prevents the age check for marriage, might wanna yoink that for your trait as you cannot marry anymore after certain ages lol
Beavor Sep 28, 2024 @ 9:54pm
@Paige 404 alright no problem.

Also I had no idea vanilla CK3 had an immortal trait too?! Is that new?
Kasgigz Sep 28, 2024 @ 7:37pm
Immortaly does not prevent the receiding hairline
Paige 404  [author] Sep 28, 2024 @ 10:42am
Today's update should give immortality decisions (e.g. Restore Body) for those who are using the new vanilla CK3 immortal trait as well. Thank you @fabien-bienz for the PR.

@Beavor that is not a feature I'm particularly interested in. I would recommend using another mod to adjust experience scaling in tandem with this one.
Beavor Sep 28, 2024 @ 5:54am
Is it possible to get a version of this where the trait also sharply reduces (~-90%) lifestyle exp gain? So that your character doesn't max out all his lifestyle traits super soon.
Kitsune Sep 27, 2024 @ 4:25pm
i have issue where i still die of old age even after being immortal and healing mind and body
N00t Sep 27, 2024 @ 1:45am
Does anyone else lack the option of "restore body and mind" with the new update?
