I've noticed that the decision to coronate the king becomes available even ten years after the heir succeeds the previous ruler (?!)
Is that realistic?

You mean the coronation module, yes I updated that one since that one offers a more indepth coronation.

Hey Lanypop, this was NOT the mod which was updated. What was updated was the other "Abdication Module" mod.

Localisation is missing for coronation.0006 events when you get invited, hope this will be fixed when this ever gets updated.

Mod aint working right you get no choice or options when you create a kingdom, only if someome inherits the crown. Hope this can be fixed ?

@Cheesus If you agree I'm interessed into an integration of your mod (with credits of course). I started to script some decisions like this and, if you agree, your mod is a good base for my work. You will continue to do what you want with your mod,but I need to adapt some things to work well with mine. If you refuse I'll respect that.

Well I think I have found the answer to the bug, make sure once your main character dies and you play as the heir it should in theory be there.

Addendum: This mod seems to be responsible for a bug in the multiplayer game. With this mod, other players cannot find the host. Without the mod, the host will be found immediately. Therefore we have now uninstalled the mod.

It seems, that this mod didn't work. There is no coronation in desisions.

Please add events for the pope because I have a mod that lets you play as him

@Antarctica, I've looked at the decisions screen but I don't see anything about coronations.

I just came across a bug. When I select the decision to start planning and select "start the preparations", the next window says "Who to perform..." But there are no options to choose from. The only option at the bottom is "I have changed my mind?" I've used the mod on a few games and even leaders within my current game in the same realm. I don't think I've added any new mods. I wish I could give you more info.

Actually I may have figured it out. I was hosting a feast, so I guess my character was busy. Maybe have an alert that says "you're busy, start planning when you're free". Also make the notification not appear if you're busy.

You should be able to activate it via the decisions screen. There is a option to hide it, and one to activate it.

How do you use this mod, I have it activated and I am playing as a King of England and I still am not finding how to ask for a coronation or even create my own coronation? Can Someone help me?

This wasn't the case just a few days ago but I noticed when I played today I had a new decision called 'test_decr" or something along those lines. It gives you the uncrowned king modifier. I noticed many kids around the realm now have that modifier. The regular option still exists but perhaps the AI are using this other, seemingly erroneous, event when they shouldn't be, giving them a negative modifier.

I know, I’m planning on adding a mechanic, where your liege can disapprove of your coronation, maybe even stirring up some tensions with Rome, if the pope approves.

Figured out what the problem is, this mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2233800473 somehow blocks your coronation mod from working. Maybe it can be fixed somehow so they can work together ??

For some reason this mod aint working anymore, started a new game played for over a year ingame and nothing came available, he didnt even get marked as not crowned neither do any other of the characters in the game. Something appears to be broken ??? Worked perfect before the last update now doesnt even show or do anything

After creating my own faith and changing from catholic, the crowning decision has disappeared completely:(

I've a suggestion: Multiple Coronations. Basically If I hold 2 or more crowns, I should have a coronation ceremony for each (top-tier only). It could be immersive if I am ruler of Denmark and my vassals all accept the coronation, but the rowdy Norwegians refuse to attend when I'm crowned king of Norway.

I bribed the pope, befriended him, and went on a pilgrimage and he still said no to a coronation:(

So are all coronations done by the Pope?

@Virrey, I can do it yes, but i always prefer to ask permition to the author and offer them the possibility to propose the translation to the comunauty.

@slan666 , why don't you just download the mod, go into the folders where it is located and make a french localisation based on the English localisation file?

It doesn't appear that the author is too active in addressing questions or concerns.
