The mod is currently glitch, for anyone that wants to be able to play it; Go to the folder of the mod and look for the icons ( in my computer it was in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\2231695615\gfx\interface\icons) and change the name of the folder "religion" to "faith".

hey Caesar, i know you care not for this mod much anymore but i am desperate, can you PLEASE perhaps make the decisions seperate from the religion? the religion aspect is glitched, it destroys the name of Hellenism and the thumbnail for the Roman Pantheon is not present... i love the event decisions on their own is all

Hello, are there any plans to change the religion group to Greco-Roman, instead of your Custom Roman? Thus it would be better to reform the Empire from Italy already with the names of the Roman gods.

Hey, played this today and am struggling to convert any counties to my faith T-T. My advisor just converts over and over on the same county and it never actually converts it.

@Ahruman im gonna add the decision to dismantle the papacy, i was thinking about that but forgot to do it. As for the tenet, i still think the pursuit of power one is more fitting, roman expansionism was consider divine destiny inside their religion for a reason, that opinion malus is only for vassals because i think it reflects their own ambition and how they end up envying if they see someone winning battles and conquering places while they are the ones that could be doing that. I like communal identity and legalism but unfortunately you can only choose 3 tenets so i just think pursuit of power fits more with roman ambition and the fact that everyone is looking to get more prestige and powerful positions inside the empire. If there is a mod that allow for more tenets, i could look into a compability mod for both.

In addition, it would fit in with the rest of the mediterranian paganistic faiths if you dug through the files to add this to the list of faiths that can dis-mantle the papacy, it doesn't make sense that I can re-claim roma itself from the pope and begin a march into mainland europe and I still have to deal with annoying crusaders going after the Holy Land all the time

I would suggest swapping out Pursuit of Power for something like Communal Identity (roman culture and religion were really intertwined) or Legalism (Pax Romanum and Pax Deiorum), while Pursuit of Power may in fact be slightly more accurate to what they held as important politically, it makes it far too easy to blitz down places because a good player can push themselves up to pull off two kingdom-tier conquests per ruler, once with the Conquer Kingdom CB, and once with the Holy War for Kingdom CB. That, and Pursuit of Power destabilizes any nation it's used within, which is the exact opposite of what the roman state wanted when it spread its faith

This is a great mod, although it would be even greater if it was compatible with the More Unique Buildings letting you build the helenistic wonders with the roman pantheon too.

@Shadow well there were exceptions of course, is not like they did the pluralist approach as a kindness of heart but only as a control method. the places that keep revolting and couldnt adapt got the good old gladius treatment. And to be fair the "hebrews" did get kicked out from alot of places :)

@captain403 yes, thats because the custom char mod only show base game options unfortunately. What you could do is start with the base leader of the faction you want then use a cheat menu to add all the piety required to him to convert, then use the event that let you create a custom char and kill everyone of the dynasty

This doesn't show up to select as a faith when using the custom ruler designer. You can convert to this faith, but not select it as the character's faith when designing the character.

We could ask Hebrews and Druids if Romans were all that Pluralistic...

@Master Wizard Wither Unfortunately i did had to add a category of its own to avoid localization conflicts, so in this case if you add hellenism to your game they will probably consider you hostile

Is this religion in the Greco-Roman category or its own? Or at least have something in place that doesn't make Hellenism consider it Evil or Hostile because that makes no sense. The reason I ask is because I like world building using the console and I'm planning on making more remote areas of the Empire Hellenic, kind of like what Insular Christianity is to Catholicism.

@blackeagle56 im trying to maintain it as close as i can to actual roman customs and society, and it was very male dominant. Women could not hold political positions or even vote on the matters of state. Although they could own land they could not hold any political title. You can choose the "create new roman religion" option after converting and choose everything while still using the same name and custom icon.
