When mod is so good PDX needs it to be part of base game.

congratulations looks like paradox went and integrated this mod.

Is this still incompatible with achievements in 1.9 or is that note in the description a leftover from before?

Why this isn't a vanilla feature I'll never figure out. Especially in that time period access to major rivers was a HUGE deal and the reason why nearly all major cities of today's Europe are located by navigable rivers...

Hi thanks for yet another cool mod. Is this one compatible with SoW as well?

@misha_archmage I'm the mod author for the new COW3 that replaces the older COW2. I'll look at what's needed to make this work with my mod.

Hi can you please make a compatibility mod with CoW?
Licarious Fenrir Apr 3, 2022 @ 1:41am
Yes, assuming that IBL2 doesn't make it's own changes to the port buildings.

@Licarious Fenrir
Would that make it compatible with Ibn Battuta's Legacy 2?
Licarious Fenrir Feb 8, 2022 @ 5:07pm
If you replace your requirement trigger with this you will be able to remove the need for those massive lists and deprecate the other versions.
building_common_river_tradeport_requirement_terrain = {
is_riverside_province = yes
}

Looks like you will be able to remove that giant barony list in 1.5 and turn this mod into a general purpose mod that will work with a lot of other map mods.

@Cactus Punch I can make compatible version for A Eurocentric Map (No India and others) mod.
Cactus Punch Sep 17, 2020 @ 2:17pm

@Licarious Fenrir Big thanks i will look today and start work on submod.

If you ever want to create a version that works with More navigable Rivers then here is a list of all non-coastal baronies adjacent to rivers.

Not tiny lakes, but ones that have decent sized coastlines with a river going into it, at least. Over relatively calm waters it was cheaper to ship goods by boats, even flatboats, than it was to haul them around the lake.

@ajacksonian I thought about adding ports on lakes in next mod update.
ajacksonian Sep 15, 2020 @ 7:44am
That has always bothered me on the large rivers, no ports nor local fishing. And on large lakes, the same.

nice will try this mod out

@Licarious Fenrir Thankl you for found bug. Yes its a pain when some conditions hardcoded :(.
Licarious Fenrir Sep 13, 2020 @ 9:37pm
It is a real shame that CK3 doesn't have a simple borders_major_river condition like CK2 got back in 3.0.
Also looks like common_tradeport_05 is missing a { on its OR statement.
