I could, but then the damage would (an should) be rather minimal to not just die from running through few bushes. Though then it would pretty much instantly regen, making it pointless. Good point on performance too.

I wonder if you could add a small AoE that gives you bruises when you crawl into bushes like this. On the other hand, this would likely kill the last bit of performance in this game, if all bushes on the world had a detector for that.
