Could you add mines randomly throughout the rest of the map? Like Iron, silver, tin, copper etc? I feel like there would be a lot more mines in the real world

Gold: Inntal Valley (Switzerland, Austria and Germany), La Mancha (Spain), Cheb (Czech), Hont (Slovakia).

Iron: Coventry (England), Hunyad (Hungary), Bergslagen (Sweden), Kayseri (Turkey), Toledo (Spain).

Copper: Cornwall (England), Cork (Ireland), Konstendil (Greece), Szepes (Hungary).

Now do note that most of these locations are from Eu4 and possibly didn't exist during the medieval times, so I would recommend that you do your own research and attempt to see if these mines were open/available.

@Chlodio I see. Well Europe is not a popular location for gold, majority of gold deposits (or any deposits in that case) were founded by the Romans and gone lost until the 1900s. In my opinion you should expand the mod to were it's not only gold mines but also other types of ore deposits found across Eurasia: Lead, Iron, Copper, etc (If you do this then don't make the other mines have a huge income as the gold mines or else it'll be pretty overpowered. And if you really want to be specific you could make alluvial gold deposits give less gold coins than normal deposits). Anyways here's a few ore deposit locations you could use for Eurasia and Africa that might be relevant during the middle ages:

As said by two people, I believe Eurasia needs gold and silver mines as well.

Europe and Asia had gold and silver mines too. Are you planning on extending this to the various regions or is this going to be a mostly Africa area mod?
