Oh it was a visual bug of some kind. It looks like a flag now after I leveled up.

@Recaiden the Glorious Flag is revealed to be a Horror even without the Revelation tree active. Is this intended behaviour? I feel it would flow better for the story of the class to have you grow to like and rely on your flag, only for it to be revealed as a horror once you adopt the revelation tree.

I love this class, but I hate being limited to sling for my ranged damage.

The ability to double dip on some enemies by killing them once, and then killing them again as a Horror that you get bonuses against is really cool. I'm gonna crack that open in the Inf Dungeon with Category points and kill the same enemy multiple times. It's very funny.

Yeah, after playing this for a bit I have to say this is the best custom class for me! I love how it interacts with the sanity mechanic, and how your build can switch on a whim between melee and ranged with no real specialisation unless you go really hard into a specific tree
