If anyone is still using this mod like I am, you will need to manually update it for the latest version of the game, as it gives no extra accolades for characters being King or Emperor rank, and gives no extra tax slots for characters of that rank if you are a Clan ruler. Can be fixed by updating the BRP_basic_modifiers.txt and comparing with vanilla basic_modifiers.txt file

The ideas alright but having 30 domains for an emperor it is too much and its not very realistic. it messes with the balance of the game, makes starting as a count almost pointless. maybe make it 10 for emperor assuming you still get bonuses from stewardship with this mod ( i haven't tried the mod ) That's quite a lot more without being completely broken. Then it would be a mod i'd want to play.

Doesn't work for me for some reason, I put it all the way on the bottom, all the way to the top and around in the middle and it never works. Is it totally incompatible with mods that might change this or is it supposed to overwrite other mods that changes this too ?

Hey guys the mod is updated, please let me know if something is not working as it should as I have taken a small hiatus from this game in favour of university work and custom computer building. However I do still look at the comments etc and I will make some time to keep my currently published mods up to date.

ok i had the mod running, and suddenly i get thrown back to 8 Holdings as emperor?

Any chance you could make a version with toned down benefits? I definitely feel like the base game is way too conservative, but this seems to scale up to crazy levels. Especially with the HRE being the only empire of its neighborhood, its just eating everything (always true, but esp with the mod).

Its all rulers I think, I know for sure its all players because I use it in multiplayer all the time and everyone has the benefits.

A domain is one holding that you rule yourself and get full taxes and levies from @MrAnon

@Ace_Of_Spades I only use this in MP maybe unsubscribe and subscribe again, all of you, also make sure the mod order is identical.

What is a 'domain' in this? Is a domain a province with a building = holding, or is a domain a duchy? I'm new to the CK# realm and its confusing the heck out of me what I can/can't hold under the limit and all sorts of names for the same thing are being used by people

update.. have 100 years played and is all still really balanced in world map.. is not easy to get "fast" more countries, lands or kingdoms.. is hard work step by step.. im not the big overloard that can force every nation to a war and steal his kingdoms..

@neutrino, I just tried reducing the defines file to only the Ncharacteropinion section, but it caused a crash in save games where it ends the game instantly and says time has ran out in the year you saved in, for me it was 876

When I added the whole file in again it worked as it should, I added you on steam perhaps im doing something wrong.

also i can say, your mod and his mod works nicely together, if i let the stats for knights, vassals and domains by default.. otherwise increase his mod all stats.. you need also not changing your mod files..
his single mod no duchys limit works to with all 3 mods..

@neutrino thanks for that, im new to modding for this game im a Total war modder so still figuring stuff out. Ill try and slim down the files.

Thanks guys, I got it, next update will include the option to hold 15 duchies without penalty, also reduced some other modifiers to make life as a lonely warlord slightly more possible.

also i have start new game in england in wessex / 867 england.. the domains are to much.. cause , this is an additional value to other incoming personal stats

i have alltime 80% from counties in wessex.. got now king of wessex and limit is now +30 domain also more as half complete england and 250% of wessex

late could be better , if i have much more land and king titles

i think make 30% of all

also baron= 2 count = 4 duke = 6 king = 10 emporer = 25

if possible for each duchy title and each king title ??

I think it's in the defines file;"MAX_DUCHIES_BEFORE_PENALTY = 2 # How many duchies are vassals fine with you having? If you're a duke, they don't care; only if you're king or above".

so far could not find the required tables :(
