That still works to help with compatibility, but the main problem is character_interaction_categories which contains a file that defines each category in the interaction menu. Each category has a number defining how high or low on the menu it is in comparison to other categories. There cannot be any gaps in the list (cant list 7 items then list an 8th with number 9) so both Pika and myself added our cheats as the 8th item, causing a conflict and a crash.
The only way around this is to simply uncategorize your cheats (not great) or to create compatibility patches for everything else that uses the interaction menu.
I am asking because I am making my own cheat mod series, taking it slow and not trying to rush. I want my cheat mod to be conscious of the others so that it works with them. What can I do myself to maximize the odds of this? I enjoyed Pika's, Glorified's, and yours. I want to ensure mine is compatible with all 3, and hopefully others that will also come out later by others.
Both my mod and Pika's use a system in CK3 to categorize our cheats. However, due to the way the system is set up in the game, we have to use files that would break either mod if not used with the other. Thus, for those who use only one cheat menu, this is a separate mod.
