Update pretty please

How to make it work as of now. It takes less than 5minutes to set it up.

1. Enable debug mode.
2. Launch the game, new game, pick your own character.
3. Open console (with ² on azerty keyboard, i guess it's always the key above "tab").
4. Go to "game rule", find the "rule_shattered_world" towards the end and select which one you want (duchy_even_desc for full shattered world)

Now you can either
- Write (event shattered_world.2 XXXX) in the console, without the () and XXXX replaced with specific character ID, if you want to shatter specific titles. There's also (event shattered_world.3 XXXX).
- Write (event shattered_world.1 0000) in the console, without the (), to shatter evry titles (hence the 0000 for "all" i guess ?)

Works for me, with recent DLC.

@macluk Sadly, the option to remove baronies in MORE GAME RULES is broken.

Do you plan to upgrade sometime? Does anyone know of alternatives?

Just use More Game Rules mod instead. You have shattering the world in the to whatever administrative level you want + landless titles separately (namely vatican), and stop moaning.

The command says it fires off but never does. Could be a difference in DLC?

Does this work with the 1.12.5 update or do I need to roll back to 1.8.1?

I tried the command just now and it works fine. (no other mods installed)

Better workaround for now — `event shattered_world.1` is the event that should be firing, I just realized its actually working fine, just not firing properly. That event will do exactly what the gamerule setting you set when you start the game. I just gotta figure out why its not firing automatically...

I'm just getting back into the game after a while and just noticed this doesn't work quite right anymore. Something goes wrong with the first event. I'm going to see about fixing this sometime this week if I get time (and motivation tbh), but I have a but of a workaround for you all right now:

With console commands, use `event shattered_world.3 ID` where ID is, use the character ID of a ruler. This will break their titles into independent duchies. Replace 3 with 2 and it will break into counties.

I know that can be tedious but it works for now until I can take a look at the scripts themselves.

Cant play without this, anyone know which version it last worked on?

This mod no longer works with 1.10.2. I hope you update this mod for current CK3, because I love this mod.

Updates take a long time and with how Paradox games updates it's tedious for mod creators. They have lives other than creating mods and updates.
