I am unable to replicate your error but am encountering other errors during debugging. The making all hands claws also seems to be broken now, at least for me.

I do not know when I'll be able to return this mod to proper functionality.

Should be updated so that Gerryrigging of the files is unneeded. I believe the burrowing toggle is vanilla.

Every time steam tells me I have a new comment, I assume a CoQ mod needs to be fixed.

This mod is incredible for the ability to simply turn off burrowing claws in the ability menu. I hated in vanilla how they were always on and it made walking around settlements like egg shells for fear of busting furniture or walls (unless that feature is native to vanilla and I never knew and I am a big dummy). I believe I had to do some gerryrigging to the files to get it stop throwing errors and/or to get it to work, as Caves of Qud updates every week and breaks mods constantly.

it adds 'burrow up' and 'burrow down' abilities to the ability list if you have burrowing claws, It might need pre-release enabled when you get the claws for them to show up

using force attack up or down doesn't seem to do anything. I have the the "Use new input manager" disabled because it breaks key combinations for me and I never figured out why, if that matters?

I enabled the "enable unfinished and pre-release content" but force attacking up/down with burrowing claws doesn't do anything?

I still had to start a new game cause old save was bricked but it seems to work now. I'm not sure how to dig up/down though on the beta branch? Force attack up/down doesn't seem to do it?

Update changed the way mutations interacted with default behaviour of body parts. Fix is applied, with added functionality of pre-release dig up/down now working and also making all hands claws, rather than just two.

idk if it's something I did or because of an engine update or what.
I'm on the beta branch and this mod was working just fine but I loaded the save today and I was having a rough time with my unarmed build and I looked and I'm using bare fists despite having burrowing claws mutation in the character sheet at 6. If I try loading this save with this mod disabled then it tells me the save was made for an earlier version of qud and can't be loaded.

This breaks character creation interface when choosing mutations in beta all the categories turn invisible when you open one

I've located the specific area of code that causes this to fail in the non-beta versions of the game. Fixing it would require me to make a non-beta version. Easiest way to make it work is to switch to beta branch, but if you don't want to use the beta (even though it's got fun physical mutation buffs), I'd be willing to make a non-beta version of this if you request it.

I just tested the mod in the main branch of the game and it crashed after advancing from the mutation screen as you described. At current this mod is only confirmed as working in the beta branch.

Could I ask you to see if you can replicate the issue in the beta build (Library->Right Click Game->Properties->Betas->"beta-" in the dropdown)?

If that doesn't make it work, logs would probably help.

No it is the only mod I have installed atm and it is the current version (not beta). I checked and confirmed that it only happens when I select the burrowing claws mutation. I can maybe somehow send you the player.log txt file if it will help you understand why it crashes? I don't know tho I am kinda new to this stuff lol. Oh and thanks for replying btw :)

Yours is the first known instance of that happening.
Do you have any other mods installed?
Are you on the beta build?

hey! I tried to create a character with the mod installed and it crashed just after the mutation picking screen when I selected the burrowing claws mutation. Is this common or is there any way to fix this?
