Another 3.4 fork (as integrated continuation) is here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2584335328 @Batmane: I have also nothing against a collaboration (I mentioned you there too).
GARY420 Mar 28, 2022 @ 12:05pm
is this clear for 3.3
Nug Feb 12, 2022 @ 10:34am
Thank you

Still compatible
Nug Feb 10, 2022 @ 4:09pm
Is there an update coming? Or is this safe to use in Stellaris 3.2?

yeah either that or fanatic xenophobes and spiritualists. I found a solution for the AI though. I got a mod that allows militarists and xenophobes to do Armageddon bombardment, which allows orbital bombardment to turn a planet into a tomb world, essentially glassing the planet

Fanatic Spiritualist, Militarist
Batmane  [author] Jan 12, 2022 @ 3:15pm
AI cant. That is a good idea though. What ethics is the covenant?
thesquirrell44 Jan 11, 2022 @ 4:36pm
Does anyone know if the AI empires can do this? Or is it just a player option. I’m playing with some halo mods and it would be sick if the covenant could glass planets, not just me

glassing
"remember reach"
Verbs Oct 18, 2021 @ 3:37pm
@mmhats43

Not all planets were fully glassed like Reach was, and even then it wasn't 100% glassed either. Typically glassing only occured on specific parts of a world until the atmosphere was damaged enough or the sorts.
Ashran Sep 9, 2021 @ 9:07am
Does anyone else have a problem where the localization for the planetary bombardment policy doesnt work?
Оливер Apr 5, 2021 @ 2:19pm
could you make glassed planets turn into molten worlds, i personally think its more lore friendly, i mean look at reach
CordialVillain Mar 2, 2021 @ 5:50pm
Does anyone else have a problem with the nukee getting the 'nuked planet' diplomatic debuff instead of the actual invader? I just burned a world and my target got the diplomatic hate for it instead of me.
Ferrisuki Feb 11, 2021 @ 5:34am
i have the same problem as Mr. Calcium. idk whats the conflict, i looked through the files and didnt find anything of value that could point me to whats the conflict
Noble-6 Feb 7, 2021 @ 3:41pm
It would be nice if planetary glassing was also reflected in war fatigue. In the game, instead of occupying an enemy planet, making it glass or devastated by nuclear bombing is not reflected in the war fatigue, it is a regretful part. Also, it would be nice if there was an effect of devastation like a ring world when bombing an orbital settlement or an explosion of the settlement, but there seems to be a system limitation. Thanks for making this mod.

Because this message is a translation, it may be a bit awkward or there may be expressions that do not fit my intentions. I'm sorry.
Jigsaw717 Feb 6, 2021 @ 10:30pm
Can't really use this on an orbital habitat as it'll turn it into the respective tomb/glassed planet instead of destroying it
starfirejordan Jan 24, 2021 @ 2:36am
it doesnt force me to need the resourses to do the option. it doesnt make other empire have a negtive opinon and doesnt add war exguhtion for me. what wrong with it??
Noble-6 Dec 31, 2020 @ 6:25pm
Is bombardment policy affect space warfare?
Batmane  [author] Dec 2, 2020 @ 3:45pm
This mod doesn't overwrite any policies. It might be that you have a mod which coincidentally has the exact same policy key. I believe the name of this mods policy is planetary annihilation.
Mr. Calcium Dec 2, 2020 @ 3:18pm
I haven't been able to find the policy, it might be that some of my other mods also have policies and it got shoved out of view but I'm not sure.
Batmane  [author] Nov 30, 2020 @ 7:24pm
Theres a new policy. By default, its set to conventional bombardment. You need to set it to planetary annihilation. Then you should automatically get the decision to glass after bombarding a planet for some time.
Mr. Calcium Nov 30, 2020 @ 7:11pm
How do you get the decision to glass a planet? Do you need the indiscriminate policy or the Genocidal Empire "Armageddon" policy?
Batmane  [author] Nov 28, 2020 @ 11:28am
Late game, the AI spams planets and my game starts imploding. This mod is essential for me personally.
Varthian Nov 24, 2020 @ 10:41pm
Does this apply for habitats? can they be destroyed?
Batmane  [author] Nov 12, 2020 @ 9:04am
Thats cool. To adjust the resource cost, you would have to go into the events file. I defined the costs in there i believe.
Archer Nov 12, 2020 @ 2:01am
Okey cool, might try that - I was looking around for mods for our next multiplayer playthrough. Thanks. Yeah glassing a planet shouldn't be easy or cheap, just thought a constant debuff just for a policy that you might not even use for years and years felt a bit off-putting. I'd rather just have it cost a bunch of resources personally.
Batmane  [author] Nov 11, 2020 @ 11:37am
I guess you could consider it a charge. The way to get around it is to take all starposts and destroy the enemy navy before switching it back on. You could probably also outweigh the debuff with sheer tech and numbers. Keep in mind, you can glass the AI during a war, but they can't really glass you back.
If you want to mod it out, just navigate to steam/steamapps/workshop/. Search glass. Open policies. Remove the lines which define the debuff. There should be one for each debuff. Let me know if this helps.
Archer Nov 11, 2020 @ 6:17am
So it gives the empire a constant debuff? I understand, to bad though. Kind of illogical that it's always a debuff just because you have a policy active.
Batmane  [author] Nov 10, 2020 @ 5:57pm
Its a debuff for balance. Glassing/Nuking takes significant energy.
Archer Nov 10, 2020 @ 7:19am
Can someone clarify the description of Planetary Annihilation in the policies menu? The weapon damage modifiers.
Mc.turdle Nov 7, 2020 @ 3:58am
awesome mod!

DarthMagus Oct 30, 2020 @ 5:23pm
Thanks for the update :)
Batmane  [author] Oct 30, 2020 @ 11:23am
Ill play test it and see if it all checks out.
The Angry Cheese Oct 30, 2020 @ 11:22am
Probably, since it's only affecting planetary bombardment. But hey, may as well be safe, right? Also, satisfy those of us who dislike having "out of date" notifiers :(
Batmane  [author] Oct 30, 2020 @ 11:14am
Does it still work?
HendersonVirtual Oct 30, 2020 @ 10:30am
is this mod going to be updated for 2.8?
Skill Less Oct 26, 2020 @ 9:29am
it's back, lol.
Scyobi_Empire Oct 22, 2020 @ 9:55am
The Worm made us live on Tomb Worlds, I find this mod. No longer shall I be peaceful with my Liberation CB, I'm nuking them so they have to join us to get their planet back.

After we willingly send our people into their empire to do that, we're the good guys.
CeliMax Oct 21, 2020 @ 11:05pm
It looks like the -100 "Glassed a World" opinion is applying to the victim empire rather than the empire doing the actual glassing.
Sel Und Irae Oct 21, 2020 @ 6:23pm
The AI can use this aswell correct? Really cool option but most these mods don't let the AI be murderhobos and its sad.
zirconzz Oct 9, 2020 @ 12:17am
thank you so much for updating this mod, really makes me FEEL like the covenant
Noone Oct 4, 2020 @ 3:49am
This mod is nice, tho it doesnt contribute to war attrition, could make that happen if possible??
Gbrille Oct 4, 2020 @ 3:24am
Oh wow thank you! I remember there used to be a mod like this that got too much out of date or disapeared and it was fun. Im glad to see it back or well alike! :)
The_Dank_Astero Sep 28, 2020 @ 1:12pm
oh fuck yes now we can commit war crimes all the fucking way
