That sounds like something that happens when you run mods that add religions. Make sure you try to open the game with only this mod first and look around if the icons are correct. If they look good when you only run this mod, then it is a conflicting mod.

All the icons are to much to the left to me, cut in half and all and sometimes have pieces of the next one in them

I installed eu4 and tried it out. Works fine. Most likely you have another mod that is causing the problem.

Could be another mod conflicting. Do not believe that Paradox has added another religion the last half year. Try disabling everything and run only this mod.

There where no alpha channels in these files. I mixed the icons of Dei Gratia and vanilla in a copy of the vanilla file. Simply merging all layers in the end made it work.

I used GIMP v.2.10.4 for making this.

Hey can I ask something about modding? How did you figure out the alpha channel so that icons from 2 different DDS files could be put together without only keeping the alpha channel from 1 image?

Fix:
- Vanilla icons still showing in diplomacy window
- Advisor religion being wrong size in court window
