I really like the wheelchair and stretcher featured here..

it was another "original no mercy" with a similar file size to match and same description.
after i called them out in their own comments, it went missing. how suspicious and funny.
so yes, it most likely was a possible theft... why else would they remove it lol.

There is only one major issue, that being the lack of level-specific voice lines. These are voice lines tied to places in the map, such as when Louis is meant to say ''The red line north will take us to mercy'' when they enter the subway on level two after entering the station. All these lines are missing and reduces to context and feel of a map

this is probably a problem on my end, but i crashed at the level change in the saferoom in the pawn shop, and this used to happen to me before but i forgot what mod it was

I did the OG game, i don't remember there being anything majorly different about it and it looks the same in the pictures. I didn't even know the L4D2 version was different at all until now.

DoritoPasta, if you haven't played the Original Left 4 Dead, I don't know what to tell you other than, it's a port from the original which had less unneeded changes than the Left 4 Dead 2 version.

Need the others as well without the stupid "Fight your way to the saferoom" events, the Blood Harvest ones made no sense at all as well as Dead Air cause it makes more sense for the checkpoint to be knocked down if the airport was bombed by the military.

Sev, you're wrong, Left 4 Dead was intended originally to be a Counter-Strike esque zombie mode with a zombie team and survivor team, hence why beta zombies had less outright incapacitating abilities and special animations for survivors or infected.

Hence also why common infected were playable and doors could be locked, but not broken. Thank God we got Left 4 Dead instead of Terror Strike (yes, the name they were going with. God Terror Strike would've ♥♥♥♥♥♥ died immediately)

They should've just ported both versions into L4D2, but I get the sense Valve was looking to port over the maps as quickly as possible. Also, from Day 1, L4D was NEVER intended to be a Versus game, only Coop. Also, we ain't ever getting L4D3. Be happy the Workshop and Sourcemod keep this game from being outright stale over the years. I know a lot of people love the Vanilla game, but it got old a long time ago for me.

The L4D1 maps were edited and adjusted to patch out many bugs for L4D2.

This addon just restores the old version of the map.

(also all of the l4d1 maps are included in l4d2, but weren't present in xbox 360 l4d2 as they had to put them up as DLC)

Hi Guys,

I bought L4D2 and there already were L4D1 campaigns.
am I slowed down and this is completely something different? (like new looks, textures, models and so)

Or some of you just didn't have No Mercy in L4D2 purchase?

You're kidding me! I've been working on and off with my own No Mercy: Classic project for over a year lol. I have everything worked out except a bug with the helicopter sound in map 3. I was trying to find a way to remove water movement speed slowdown so that it is like L4D1 and I had a method but I couldn't be bothered doing it.

Anyway, I'm so glad someone has FINALLY done this! Thank you. It's a great thing to have the original version in L4D2. I'll have to try this out ASAP.

In my version I had removed all of the "fixes" they had added to the L4D1 version over the years such as the ration crates under the ramp in the finale and the clip brushes around the edges of the buildings. I also ported in the original saferoom door models (including the collision mesh) and textures.

I had planned on porting the rest of the L4D1 campaigns as faithfully as possible but it is a little too much for me to handle. Maybe one day lol. Anyway, I'm glad that someone has done this!

Because VS version is more balanced than coop version. Only reason they even made 2 seperate versions of the original maps because L4D1 didnt have info_gamemode entity on release, that wasnt until Crash Course DLC.
