Прошел соло за 4 часа, большенство ядер можно уничтожить просто зная механики и имея хотя бы 1го Т3 крепость.
Карта хорошая, затянуло:steamhappy:

Spent the better part of a night chipping away at this. Ended just after hitting 4 1/2 hours and loved every bit of it. I love these "rags to riches" sort of maps where you are smack dab in the middle of enemy territory and have to slowly gather resources and push the enemy back. Its all masterfully crafted into one riveting experience. Easily one of the best maps I've ever played, great work!

EvilStew: Hails work on large potions of the map but can be tedious and repetitive indeed. Units are more fun and can later be upgraded further when hails will no longer work, so I recommend giving that a try instead

copperTones: This map was made a long time ago when the Vela didn't exist yet, it is indeed a game changer when build in large numbers. Expert players are free to restrict themselves to Tier 3 units, or remove the damage benefit for the yellow player and the damage penalty for the red enemy

Apuuckaa: close the game, then unsubsribe to the map and then subscribe again.
There were no recent changes to the map so unless a Mindustry update just broke it, it should be fine when downloading it again.

possibly the best map ever created. it really annoys me when attack maps use those infinte generators but this one dosnt. along with that its just really really big. 10/10 would play again (i mean, i did, ive played it thrice)

Very good map, i really enjoyed it! You can adjust difficulty by Yourself, depending on strategy used it can be truly easy (Pyrarite Spectres, Vela spam) or challenging. Overall nice relaxing experience. But why are You getting "game over" screen after destroying last enemy shard, is that normal?

definitely a pretty good map, took me 6.5 hrs solo. I absolutely coulda done it faster if I had been more agressive with a vela squad

@348joey: The map was made in Mindustry v5 and ported to v6 when I didn't a lot of real experience in v6 gameplay. It's a relatively easy map as a consequence so ideal of players that just finished the campaign or haven't finished it yet. Thanks for the thumbs up :).

Good map. A few strategies make it somewhat easy, notably leapfrogging ripple/hail turrets, as there's almost nothing to stop you besides other ripples/hail (foreshadows are few). I see this as another strategy you can use rather than an exploit though. I didn't realize I could control my turrets though, that's neat. I give it a thumbs up.

A new build was just uploaded. Units have been buffed a lot which means they are a lot more viable now. Also the counter attacks are stronger too.

I wonder it the map would be much more fun if:
1) manageable waves of air units (T1..T3) would spawn
--> This would mean some defenses are required while still posing no real danger of loosing the core (assuming the waves stay small enough that something like 5 Scatter turrets can take them out)

2) Breaking walls into new areas should unleash a surge of ground units (Maybe something like one unit type supported by a single factory per area could work)
--> Would add some danger when braking into a new area

3) ban all player long range turrets (Hail, Ripple and Foreshadow)
--> forces to build units and avoid falling into the initially much easier (but long term boring) turret creep. I suspect T3 units like the 'Fortress' will easily be able to break the defenses but we simply lost interest before we got to that point.

I played the map alone in v5 before and found it quite nice. Finding ways to snipe out the reactors was a lot of fun. But now I tried the v6 beta (as of 13.12) with a friend and unfortunately we quickly got bored. We only proceeded till the oil field and then stopped playing as it felt like a sandbox game.

The issues were basically:
- no pressure at all from the enemy (I guess it is impossible to proper balance this with ground units)
- Our T1 and T2 unit evaporated once they got within fire range of the defenses, so we didn't really invested into units
- building artillery wiped out the defenses effortlessly

This meant we quickly started playing turret creep with Hail and Ripple. Unfortunately this means it does not matter how beautiful the base is. You just place them barely out of enemy hail/ripple range and move forward when they stop firing...

Logic can be of use here. Using a simple program, logic blocks can incapacitate the original ai of a unit as logic commands override the ai, however, a player-controlled unit ignores logic commands.

@3_Circles: For "An EPIC Attack Map": Yeah I ported this map :), I still need to do some additional balancing testing.

For "An ACTION-PACKED Attack Map": It was hidden from the Steam Workshop because v6 broke that it so hard it was no longer playable / beatable. The map was also hit very hard by the v6 update as the core gameplay in that map completely changed:
- The default player's Mech has extremely bad damage against enemy blocks in v6 and I can't change it :(.
- Every time I want to give a powerful mech for the player to control, I'm also giving it to the AI which will gladly use it to stomp all over the enemy base without the player needing to do anything.

So I'll need to test whether I think it's worth to port the action packed map.

Nice to see you've been going along and porting your attack maps to v6.

What happened to ACTION-PACKED? It was a good map, I kinda miss it.

@JulchenBeilschmidt: I was porting another map of mine (A CO-OP Attack Map). I was also testing some v6 maps to see how it all feels and plays so that I can make good maps.

Once I'm done I'm expecting the porting of this map (An EPIC Attack Map) to take around 10-30 hours. I'll do my best to complete it as fast as I can but it's a lot of work and I don't want to rush it.

@NateMiki: I want to first have some experience playing v6 before I port this map. I'll have to first do some testing before I decide which units I will use for counter attacks :). I'll probably have to break open some parts and reroute some resources but that's fine.

Can confirm mech factories are bigger.
Boss level ones are 9x9 and take silicon, surge alloy, plastinum, phase weave, and cryofluid to run. This is the current beta stats

As it stands it might be very hard to redo the tech pods without reworking the map. Still a good map even in beta 6 but man can some of the units just walk through the meltdowns

@Earthy Boi: Gratz on such a low time :). For v6 I'll first need to fix the map as the Mech factories will change completely. From what I saw they look a lot bigger and require different resources compared to the current ones, so cross your fingers.

finished in 7 hours, once the AI in this game is revamped I can see myself coming back and having 10x more fun, since like 1 of those 7 hours was probably building walls and rebuilding command centers all over the map for different bases to attack.

And that it was such different sections help break the game up into multiple eras of pushing through new layers of defence, each is a new game of how to cripple and destroy the next sections

@◄KING ✠ JO► Thank you for playing and for the comment :). Glad you had fun. When I played Antennariae (by coreysj), I enjoyed that there were no cheating blocks so I wanted to make my own map :).

@Friendly_Robot Glad you liked it :), I may have underestimated the size of it when making it as it was my first map but I stuck with it and I'm happy with the result :). It took me 50 hours to make it and an additional 40 hours to test it many times.
