It's been seven years.

I still find it amazing that this isn't in the game and it's lingered on the workshop since 2011. I would love to see a newer version released of this weapon.

This fits both the game's humor and art style extremely well, while still being distinct from preexisting items (you could have just slapped the Sandvich on a normal Shotgun, but instead you put in the extra effort and designed something new). Also, I have 5$ on Valve giving it a lifesteal effect; That'd be great for a secondary weapon to have and the logic of "if Sandwich=Heal and Gun=Shoot then Gun+Sandwich=HealShoot" is way too Valve to be passed up.

This needs to be in the Heavy's update

also the mod is a little broken, the bullet that is used in the animation for reloading is about 2 feet behind the gun itself (i know this cause in first person the bullet is missing in all animations and that in third person you can see it behind the player). But it's a good mod the textures are great, the sounds are great, and that's all the things i have to say about it.

Funny thing is I found the mod before the Workshop item

Why would you have half of a sandwich(vich) tied to a shotgun?

I was thinking that maybe instead of a reskin, maybe we could make it a shot gun that is also a sandvich. For example, its a shotgun with half the shells, but when you taunt, you eat the sammy for half health

I actually had an idea similar to this, only it would be a reskin of the Buffalo Steak Sandvhich, would have a gloving green goo in the sandwhich, and would be called the "Russian Nuclear Submarine Sandvhich."

It could be a heavy shotgun version of the phlog when you charge up you can taunt and heavy eats the sandwich and gets angry because he ate it all and then he goes "ham"
