nevermind; it seems that i do encounter the same problem as @𝐇𝟒𝐔𝐋 but it's weird when i made my first comment it was perfectly fine and i didn't change anything...
maybe it's triggered by something ? like loading another map before ? i don't know

Also concerning the bugs in 2fort, i don't see any problem i think ? Maybe it's an addon conflict ?

2fort the glass windows are the dirty window texture
also the room that leads to the intel room near spawn with the big fan above the door is messed up

I have also noticed that when reloading a game, if it has some animation props with particles set with the advanced particle controller, the game crashes. I don't really know how to find a solution to that, or maybe you can fix it in a future update.

That's unfortunately a side effect of the addon itself clearing the map to reload the particle systems. Not much I can do about that (that I know of)

Great, now it's fixed, although now I have the problem that when I load a map already saved from TF2, all the props or ragdolls I put in disappear. The only way to fix it is to reload the map. I don't know why that happens.

Now that you mention that I'm almost certain that's what's going on.
There's timers that apply the fixes and clean the map shortly after loading it and looking into it it seems that the one for cleaning up the map ran BEFORE the one that applies the particle fixes. Tweaking the timing seems to have fixed it.

I've been experiencing that bug for a while now, where particles from a specific map don't appear, but I discovered that it can be fixed by saving the map game and then reloading it, although it's tedious to do that every time. A fix for that in a future update would be nice.

yeah, i've run into this bug too. this addon despawns all the particles on the map, and tf_applyfixup doesn't restore them, but cleaning up the map does.

if it's any help, when working on another addon, i noticed that loading a pcf again after particle effects from it had already spawned would get rid of them all - could that possibly be what's going on here? the addon is just loading the pcfs too late, after the particle entities on the map have already spawned? ideally, autorun should be loading them as early as possible.

That's extremely weird, I'll see if I can figure out what's going on.
I wonder if something changed with how particles are handled...
Particles only work when the addon is disabled (example: chimneys on cp_well)

idk if its this addon or not but i uninstalled the other mounting fixes and the hl2 shotgun still looks weird

The only thing I could think that would be causing that would be some type of conflict or TF2 not being mounted, but other than that I have no clue, I'll have to look in to it some more

Are you absolutely sure you don't have anything installed that could be causing conflicts? Because I just tested on several maps and the env_fire particle seems normal.

That honestly sounds like you might have some conflicting textures installed somehow.
This wouldn't be able to fix that, but I'd check your downloads folder and other addons to see if you have anything in there that could be causing issues

Hello, my brother and i have some problems with the normal and HW Mercs' faces. Their facial textures are all messed up, probably for the same reason that made you make this addon : name conflict. The sniper's face for exemple is all bloody and the Medic got a medical mask on his cheek and neck, among other horrors. Can you fix it with this mod ? Thanks a lot for it by the way , it's very useful

figured the cause for the shotgun issue: it was an addon that added weapons from the pre-fortress 2 mod. the author of it had forgotten to decompile the models and change the material paths, so it was always overwriting

i created an script that would fix all of the map sound scripts for TF2 maps, such as the train and its bell from well, the saw blades from sawmill and other sounds from nucleus, degrootkeep, doomsday etc...willing to hand that to you so it can be packed into this addon for convenience rather than making my own mod

for some reason it seems to be applying the fix automatically on maps like gm_flatgrass and such, which makes the hl2 shotgun use the wrong texture

do you think you could extend this to other mountable games? like the portal concrete texture being overwritten by hl2:ep2's
