After subscribing you have to go to the mods option on the main menu and enable the mod - did you do that?

If you're looking to play after the recent update, I would recommend unsubscribing then resubscribing. When I tested out the mod it didn't automatically download for some reason

This might just be one of the funniest things I've ever seen. It's worth installing just for the humor or literally everyone having a high powered death laser, from the smallest civilians all the way up to massive tanks, and the range of the laser depends on the power of the unit, which is an interesting dynamic I wasn't expecting.

However, obviously this mod is not intended for balanced play, as it is a joke mod. If you want, it's easy to just pile up a massive squad of Minigunners and absolutely decimate all life in your path. I get, that's the joke, and it is absolute entertainment to watch, but admittedly; it's way too one note for it to last more then a few rounds.

Be pretty cool if you could adjust the damage to be less, be even cooler to change the colors of the lasers depending on the faction. I'm sure there is only so much that can be modified. Excellent work though. good stuff.

Depends how you define "work". Do the units shoot lasers? Yep. Are the missions balanced for the units to shoot lasers? weeeeellll...
