Report a translation problem
This really sucks because I've imported quite a few assets, moved the hands zones, and changed some colors for a multi-game ready setup I was working on.
Advantages relative to Kraken:
1. Significantly greater power to edit the table itself
2. Model for table doesn't distort light from light-emitting objects
3. Table handles a projected image much better than the Kraken, which distorts and dims it
4. Comes with its own storage units to help players organize their personal items
Disadvantages relative to Kraken:
1. Smaller than the Kraken
2. Significant scaling issues with the vector pen tool -- the minimum size of the pen is extremely large. This is a significant drawback relative to the Kraken and makes this otherwise promising table regrettably-situational.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Dropped a 4 player MTG image onto the table and the card outlines are over 400% the size of the imported cards.
Is there a way to scale the table down as most people would need to upscale all of the cards to play this table.
Currently making a MTG Arena of the Planeswalker set for this table.
I tested it myself right now to figure out why it happens, and I know why now. The moment you upload any form of assets, objects or anything to the table, and then saving it so you can open it up later will result in a white square. I really want to use this table long time ago, and still want too, but I am still getting the same problem as you. Getting the files to fix it was only temporary as if you save again, you get the same bug again. I jumped back to check if the bug was fixed, but it appear not to be. The other weird thing is that I have seen D&D tables using this table and still manages to set it up without getting the bug still baffles me.
Would that be the same as this table?

Sorry if this is a dumb question; I am very new to TTS and I am also learning how to design my first campaign.
I was wondering what the aspect ratio of this table is?
Many thanks
P.S. love your table btw <3
At least, one of the best for sure!
Hand down.
A few replies ago I elaborated a bit in the cause of it. A tip I can provide for things you *don't* want moving / accidentally unlocking in your scene, is to add the following script to the object:
function onLoad()
self.interactable = false;
end
This will make the object ignore all inputs on it (right clicking, L shortcut, etc) and keep your scene and interactions safer.
Oh! And another thing to keep in mind is that if you did import the table into a different game, you may have to edit the Game's settings and tweak the 'play area' accordingly to prevent erratic camera / object behavior.
Thank you! You may change the wood color by using the command chimeralock - simply type and send it on the chat. This will allow you to right-click the different elements of the table and use the Color Tint option. Once done you can repeat the command to lock the table again as to avoid accidental edits / unlocks. The dimensions for the mat are the same as TTS's "Custom Rectangle" table at 4400×2600.
Optionally, to preserve the interactive aspect of the extensions, head to "Modding" on the top hotbar, then pick "Scripting". Select the UI tab, and copy the script under [UI] Global. Then after step 5, paste the script on your clipboard under this new game's [UI] Global. If something is already in there, then paste it above or below the contents. Finally click on the tool set icon for "Custom UI Assets" and add the following entries (exact names required):
ui_a_b = http://cloud-3.steamusercontent.com/ugc/1289667909928275631/2A3AA4FBB79C00FFEF03C214F96B90892304B311/

Finally, click Save & Play.
Using the chat command "chimeralock" will unlock the table / extensions and allow right-clicking options.
So you may go as follow:
1- Load the Chimera Table.
2- Enable both extensions on it.
3- Send chimeralock on chat to enable editing.
4- Right click and toggle the persistence setting on the table, extensions, mat, containers, etc.
5- Load the desired game and the table and other toggled elements should come with.
What's the mat resolution?
I'm afraid we can only tint one of the materials, which I set up to be the wood.
However a simple workaround would be to clone the tables's mat and fit it on the player boards with the gizmo tool (shift + left mouse clicking the cloned mat to edit). For example, these scales and coordinates fit rather well [i.imgur.com]. You may then supply it your own background image or clear the image url and tint it to your desired color, for a result like this [i.imgur.com].
The matlock command would then toggle interactivity with both the table's mat and the player mats as well.
Unfortunately, raising the table as a whole would bring its own deluge of issues to the play area itself, namely spawning objects and odd behaviors you may currently encounter with the player mats. Something to bear in mind is that this table was originally designed for Tabletop Playground, and the Chimera explored the more erratic and vertical designs it supported. Future tables will account for Tabletop Simulator's limitations as to prioritize function.
@Greenhart
You're welcome!
@chimera
What seems to be the problem?
@Shiftress
Thank you! I'm glad if I can be of help. Removing the mat won't break anything.
I wanted to say I really enjoy this table and I've been learning a lot by exploring it. Your comments have also been incredibly helpful as I ran into a similar issue as someone else with the widget becoming a white box and your comments to them helped me solve it. (Another scripted object kept deleting the images in the scripting assets for some reason, don't know why.) I think your work and dedication to helping is great. ^^
I was also wondering if deleting the mat, since I am using One World and don't need it, would break anything?
