Just wanted to add that I'm having the same issue as @inguy24 as well. I've tried each of the component parts of this set, but all will only spawn 3 transfer trucks even though the collection points across the city are hitting full capacity... Since the comments section aren't full of people saying the same thing, I'm assuming it must be some sort of individual mod conflict, so I'll keep investigating, but just thought I'd note that I'm having the same issue. Thanks for all of your great work though :)

@inguy24: Very strange! Even with mods in use that doesn't make much sense at all. I'll see if I can find anything when I have a chance to look into it.

@Avanya: Yes, exact same site, it replaced two processing centers which were maxing out their vehicles. I am not quite sure what the AI is doing here. I ended up placing some 1 tile spawn points (another mod) to increase the vehicle count, it is kinda a cheat though! ;-) Thanks for the reply though!

@inguy24: It uses the exact same AI as the official one, none of the changes I made should affect how vehicles spawn at all. Are they in the same place in your city?

This is a great looking facility. I gave it a test run, but seem to have problems with the transfer vehicles spawning. My old processing facilities would max out their vehicles, but I cannot get the sorting center to spawn more than 3 vehicles., and the other facilities to only spawn between 7-10 (dependent upon facilities). Is there something that I am doing wrong here? If I place a regular processing center it will again max out its vehicle capacity. My transfer stations are all approaching 100 percent so there is definitely demand for the vehicles.

@g.a.c.meijer: Yeah, then there isn't much for them to do. The old set work like the recycling center, just a bit more efficient and able to handle more garbage (for a higher cost ofc). They might be more what you're after.

I use these Sunset Harbor ones with the Recycling Drop-off. The drop-off works as a landfill and picks up garbage, while these then empty the drop-off and process the garbage. :)

aha, that explains a lot, since i didnt have landfills, but only incineration and recycling centres. do any of your facilitys work as such?

@g.a.c.meijer: I did a lot of testing with these too (more than I usually do) to get the numbers right. Not sure why they aren't operating for you, but they definitely work.

You shouldn't remove all other garbage facilities though, as they do NOT pick up garbage from houses. Test with just them and landfills. Then the landfills collect garbage from your city, and these will collect garbage from the landfills and process it.

just to be sure i removed all other garbage facilities -- still nothing. Your old garbage facilities are working fine though.

@g.a.c.meijer: How much garbage is stored? Perhaps it's run out of garbage to process?

Is there a matching "waste transfer" facility to the set/collection, or is this asset in-of-itself the waste transfer asset?

@LeoNaldy: DLC is short for "Downloadable Content" which come in different sizes. Sunset Harbor, which is required for this building, is an expansion for the game, adding a bunch of new stuff. You can read more about it (and other DLCs) on the official wiki. :)
