only issue is 1handed so far when read have to manually set the skill to 100 via console command or else it gives a exp boost and enchanting due to the green buff name
other then that its very well done.
copy and paste it and send it to your friends
It would just be easier then having to subscribe to each individual mod.
Plus like said they don't have to be quest tied. Throw a book in a hidden chest near the outside to the dark brotherehood. have one laying out in the wiold my the alch shack, place a book in the riften sewers. none of these are quest tied, it's just a matter of running to the area.
Though it be cool if some of them were, if only the 'intro' or just whatever means gets you inside the place. I do that right off before even going to riverwood in some of my paythroughs.
"Yes I am wanting to become a thief, join thives guild. Oh look a book on lock picking... I now know everything I need."
Just, keep the books apart, and place them somewhere that is relavent. Like say the alchament shack for alchame (or near it sense some mods edit it to be liveable) . Smithing near say the sky forge etc. That way we can pick up what we want, sounds silly that thered be a single book for everything.
There is nothing bad ebough having more then one book. My character may be a thief but he is also a book worm, picking up every book he can find to add to his collection. Plus if people don't want to carry around the books, they can just drop em and leave.
I could place the dungeon entrance somewhere harder to get to (possibly around Markarth) which the player wouldn't normally come across in early game as I agree this compilation would seem too OP if the book is easy to get.
I really also don't want an all in one book. If I'm making an archer, only the archery and light armor books be fine.. or a thief sneaking, lock picking, pick picketing.. Thus why I said maybe make it like a tresure hunt. Chests hidden in the brush, or on dead boldys that someone may have tried to rob but later died of the wounds.
Yes these are cheat mods, but why can't you have a little fun with it? 'you want to stealth? find the hidden chest by the dark brotherhood' or maybe IN the dark brotherhood. Dump them some place relavent to what you want to do.
P.S. If you're unable to find the other books, try adding them to your player's inventory with the console.
Maybe also you could scatter them around a bit, and not have them only in Riverwood? Like maybe there's a dead body stashed in the bushes and he has a book on him. Or in a chest mostly barried in the ground as if someones trying to hide these books.
Just so it makes it a little more fun to try and find these thing's, and town mods don't conflict.
@[SS|O]NetworkerChris, There is a smithing book. It's called Perkless Crafting (at the top of this collection).
