yeah you're more than welcome to. my life as of late is very busy so doing something like that would take me a million years. i had to hand off repaints of the streamliners to others. but i can definitely hand off the photoshop files, request me on here or shoot me a message on discord, the link for the NA server is on my later mods.

You think you could make one with the Great Northern W-1 paint scheme? If not, I'd love to try my hand at painting it if there would be a way to do that, I am not too familiar with transport fever modding, I mainly mod in the Parkitect scene.

Really nice update for an already very nice loco, thanks. Do update the description, it still says 35mph
themeatballhero  [author] Oct 26, 2021 @ 7:53pm
Its updated! VGN top speed is 50mph, 65 mph for the N&W
themeatballhero  [author] Oct 25, 2021 @ 5:21pm
nope thats right, the top speed of this unit was 35mph. not sure where you're getting 80kph
themeatballhero  [author] Oct 2, 2020 @ 9:13am
Someone else actually is working on them i believe, or the p motors.
Xilla24 Oct 2, 2020 @ 6:10am
Thanks so much man! Are you thinking about T motor models?
themeatballhero  [author] Sep 29, 2020 @ 8:47pm
I used blender and exported it via fbx. I do use the model editor a good deal. For skins and baking i used substance painter and Photoshop.

The nose wasnt the easiest but it wasn't like the f7. The f7 nose is stupid hard, and i still didn't get that right, someone pointed out the roof needs to be on more of a curve.

If you're thinking of doing a p motor you'll need schematics for the bogies, that thing has so much detail underneath
Xilla24 Sep 29, 2020 @ 12:54pm
Was it hard to model this? did you use native TF2 editing tools? i want to figure out how to model the P-2bs from NYC
themeatballhero  [author] Sep 28, 2020 @ 9:16am
You're welcome! I could never afford this in HO scale so i made it xD
Xilla24 Sep 28, 2020 @ 8:07am

On the F 7 set can you please make a Wabash F 7
General Secretary Undertaker Jul 25, 2020 @ 3:42pm
yeah the virginian did have mallets in the early years of operation before they used the siderod boxcabs thanks you replying and that thing with alleganies is a big bummer but well still all we can do is wait and consider how long it takes to get this stuff made it makes sence any way thanks for that that really sounds great for the near future and i will stay tuned for it - matt
themeatballhero  [author] Jul 24, 2020 @ 10:40pm
The VGN did have the e33 or el-c as they called it. Not sure on mallets, but as time will go on these mods will be made in sure. Steam is easier for this game to make
themeatballhero  [author] Jul 24, 2020 @ 10:38pm
@mattamartin i have no control over the alleghanies, that's all DNE. I share your frustration though, i know he's been busy learning the new coding.
themeatballhero  [author] Jul 24, 2020 @ 10:36pm
@mcnigro the update will be very soon. The skin is already done, i just have to export the FBXs. I'll be updating all my mods in the next two weeks, minus the big boy and e2. Those are both in the process of getting massive updates, i will however make a LOD1&2 for the big boy.
General Secretary Undertaker Jul 24, 2020 @ 8:55pm
could we get a port for the alleganies mod i have a massive line only powered by these behemoths that i want to expand greatly with electric and steam power there is a crap ton of locomotives the viginian had such as mallets and texas types but they had a ton of side axle locomotives and a engine simular to the e44 (im going off memory) so thats a whole bunch of mods waiting to be made as well as cash but this rant is over and good luck with moding - Matt
mcnigro Jul 19, 2020 @ 5:48pm
When will the update for the mod will come out
themeatballhero  [author] Jul 2, 2020 @ 10:14pm
I think someone else is working on it, I started but saw that it was being done
mcnigro Jul 2, 2020 @ 6:18am
Can you please also do a VGN EL-C electric locomotive.
themeatballhero  [author] Jun 20, 2020 @ 10:39am

NA4U Jun 20, 2020 @ 9:52am

themeatballhero  [author] Jun 13, 2020 @ 8:18am
thanks guys, @n.chiri yeah itll be in the next few mods. I have a very busy next couple weeks coming with starting a new job and moving cities, so it might be around august.
Boko Disraeli Jun 13, 2020 @ 8:08am
Very impressive work as always meatball!
n.chiri Jun 13, 2020 @ 7:50am
I want to see that Big Boy though, I made a small edit of the vanilla textures to give it a very black appearance, but I'm no real modder so I can't do much more than that.
themeatballhero  [author] Jun 13, 2020 @ 7:46am
lmao!
n.chiri Jun 13, 2020 @ 7:45am
Ok, in that case I said nothing ;)

the big boy is getting another overhaul. i found a diagram for the challenger im working on, and accoriding to that diagram, the challenger i have is currently bigger than the big boy. so i need to redo the big boy....again.

this did have a slight gloss finish, as it was coated metal. you can kind of see it here

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/0/06/VGN_EL-2B.jpg/300px-VGN_EL-2B.jpg

while it was meant to haul coal, it was also a streamliner, so its a weird one.
n.chiri Jun 13, 2020 @ 6:46am
Looks great, but like the Big Boy it's a bit too glossy for a loco that was meant to haul coal.
webbie33 Jun 13, 2020 @ 5:53am
Looks great. Keep up the good work.
modelcitizen Jun 13, 2020 @ 5:26am
You outdid yourself on this one, Meatball. Well done!
bilal1471999 Jun 13, 2020 @ 12:00am
Never heard of this, but it looks really cool.
