there's a default cubemap fix, so anyone thats experiencing white eyes should check it out.

replaces shit, yet sometimes, in certain maps (remember, CERTAIN maps), the top smaller eyes shall be white, however, in other maps, it wont be like this and be fixed. this is probably related to the map and cubemaps, but i aint a expert so who knows

just hoping someone clears it up in a far more expanded explanation of why this occurs

the hl2 vortigaunt isnt becoming the hl:alyx one only the one with the coat looks like the alyx vortigaunt

White eyes are caused by HDR. Can you fix this?

They show up as black blobs for me ingame (although it appears to change the model), any way to fix that or is this just in need of an update?

will you ever make a non replacement and have them as a sepreat npc i love this mod but when i uninstall or disable it removes the old model and i got to un mount and re mount half-life i understand if its difficult or your buisy with other matters but i do hope you will reply with a yes or no

Install the addon manually by placing its files in a folder thats located in your addon directory
Use steamworkshopdownloader online to get the files

I think this is a dumb question, but did you mount them? If you have then it might be a bug with the episodic content not applying the replacement properly.

MrTiaguitos, you are right vortigaunts aren't from xen.but what we do know is gordon freeman saved them and they are now on his side.

I got it to work in half life 2 without crashing (i was missing the textures from the ragdoll mod) but right before an animation at the end of sandtraps the game crashed.

Crispylizard they are not from Xen, they were from another planet / dimension of theirs, but it was invaded by combines and that was when they had to flee to xen, so that was when they became Nihilanth's alien slaves

I did a Manual Re-install, I reinstalled the Addon and did somethings to stop the Overlapping but can't get the Scientist Vort and Freed one to be the HL:A Versions

seems like the episodic content is somehow overwriting the addon and therefore displaying its regular model

tbh installing the addon manually could probably fix everything since it mounts it directly from your gmod addon directory and not from the workshop

I have a problem that the labcoat vortigaunt doesn't work the other ones work, but I think it might be that one of gmod updates has broken replacement add-on's or it's because the labcoat vortigaunt is an episodic character, meaning that the episodes are braking the game, but I don't know.
