@Noctrexium Yes.
Noctrexium Jan 13, 2023 @ 4:34pm
@algernon If, for example, I don't want absolutely uneducated adults at all, should I just plop lvl 4 and 5 buildings?
algernon  [author] Jan 12, 2023 @ 2:37pm
@Noctrexium Not directly, but you can do so by plopping buildings of the relevant level, e.g. level 1 buildings for uneducated immigrants, level 4 or 5 for highly-educated, etc.
Noctrexium Jan 12, 2023 @ 1:20pm
Sorry if I'm being a bit annoying but is there a way to modify the immigrants' education levels by myself?

Stable branch has been restored (it had been hidden, but wasn't removed from the workshop); not sure what happened there, so will blame either my fat fingers or a playful toddler on my phone.

I've been travelling and am only just starting to catch up on comments now (I have several hundred across multiple mods, plus Discord) - I'll get to these when I can.
huskereurocat Jan 2, 2023 @ 3:12pm
Wouldn't removing the mod be the same as the mod being installed yet not working properly. It may not be a situation where it crashes or breaks the game, right?
mxluk Jan 2, 2023 @ 1:34pm
in my save the death wave happened after removing the mod, which I had to do because it showed an error message that wouldn't go away. So I'm guessing that if your game actually runs, the mod was disabled or removed
huskereurocat Jan 2, 2023 @ 12:38pm
How can you tell if the mod is working properly? I mean I fired up my city and I was met with a deathwave and mass exodus out of my city. I lost 20k cims in just 30 minutes of simulation time.
Ysharros Jan 2, 2023 @ 6:35am
@yao_zhou not just you. As @HOLY[etc] suggests, it may have been unintentionally deleted or unlisted. I'm sure Algernon will fix it when he next checks in. It's the holiday season for many, and real life takes precedence.

In the meantime, this testing version has been extremely stable for me, other than a sudden deathwave (just now, actually XD) when my new city hit the cemeteries milestone -- the village went bananas with 'dead people waiting for transport' icons, but the hearses got it all under control pretty quickly.
Crea Jan 2, 2023 @ 4:08am
After using the mod everything appears to be in slow motion, and the game save remains like in slow motion after I have unsubscribed the mod. Is there anyway to fix it?
ARepublicanfromNorthernNY Jan 1, 2023 @ 10:12am
@yao_zhou i think its been deleted
yao_zhou Jan 1, 2023 @ 6:30am
Why is the stable version's page inaccessible? My problem?
Ysharros Jan 1, 2023 @ 4:59am
Subbing here because for some reason I can't access the non-beta mod page (Steam throws a not found error), but also because your mods are awesome and I'll be glad to report bugs if I encounter any.

I still need a reset, since my city has some students and some well-educated, but zero, if I switch on any version of Lifecycle Rebalance Revisited mod. The vanilla cities had university students without mods, so the vanilla game is running fine. Yes, there are some modes that are interfering. When PazarCity5 is ready I will investigate the issue to find the source of the problem. In the same way, I could find out, that More City Statistics does something and it is causing crashes in such a complicated cities, like PazarCity5.
algernon  [author] May 27, 2022 @ 1:33am
Updated CitiesHarmony API to 2.1.0.
algernon  [author] May 24, 2022 @ 6:04am
Version 1.6.4:

CrankyAnt May 24, 2022 @ 12:19am
@algernon I can also confirm this patch is working, for the first time im seeing a massive influx in my university, I kept all settings from the previous one. Thanks!
algernon  [author] May 23, 2022 @ 6:17pm
@StayHungryStayFoolish Very strange.

Are you able to reproduce on a pure-vanilla test map with only this mod (and Harmony)?
StayHungryStayFoolish May 18, 2022 @ 8:16am
@algernon Not yet, but half-year before I had the same issue in the center of the map. Anyway, I will build another university for sure, right in the middle.
algernon  [author] May 18, 2022 @ 12:06am
@StayHungryStayFoolish Have you tried moving your campus to within the 25-tile area?
StayHungryStayFoolish May 17, 2022 @ 8:32am
algernon  [author] May 17, 2022 @ 6:28am
@StayHungryStayFoolish Can you please share your vanilla setup city for me to have a look?
StayHungryStayFoolish May 17, 2022 @ 4:46am
@algernon I have added this version, unsubbed from the STABLE version, and nothing has changed, still, 1-2 people attending my DLC University even with Vanilla setup.
algernon  [author] May 16, 2022 @ 6:27pm
@StayHungryStayFoolish You and others! I was about to point you here but I see you've already found it.

Your particular issue is unique, and I don't know if this is the solution that will work for you - but hopefully it does. Let me know!
PYRO May 16, 2022 @ 10:38am
Ohh, no, no, no SHSF this is for me? Bha ha ha
StayHungryStayFoolish May 16, 2022 @ 7:32am

algernon  [author] Feb 5, 2022 @ 6:23pm
@aubergine18 Also note that the eviction code shouldn't be necessary, but is an attempt to fix issues for a couple of users that I can't reproduce. It may or may not make it into production.
algernon  [author] Feb 5, 2022 @ 4:28pm
@aubergine18 Real TIme disables its own ageing code when Lifecycle Rebalance Revisited is detected, so there shouldn't be any conflicts there (if that didn't happen, then there'd be conflicts all over the place between the two, including retirement ages and ageing speed).
leftbehind Feb 5, 2022 @ 3:15pm
@algernon does the forced student eviction take account for mods like Real Time which alter citizen aging rate?
algernon  [author] Feb 5, 2022 @ 6:55am
