Rings of the Nine Divine

Have you considered doing a Ring of The Eight or Ring of The Nine that would combine all(or all but Talos) into one ring(no not THAT one ring)? The knights of the Nine is canon after all. Like maybe as a craft recipe involving all of the lesser rings?

3 rings for the elven kings under the sky 7 for the dwarf lorf lords in their halls of stone 9 for the race of men doomed to die 'huh' 1 ring to rule them all 1 ring to find them 1 ring bring them all and in the darkness bind them for the dark lord on his dark throne in the lands of mordor where the shadows lie 'i dont want to be a wraith'

I've heard from a reliable source that these "nine rings" of power may be a clever trap to bind the race of men in darkness to a "master ring"

The Thalmor are idiots. If Talos is not a Divine then how come you get the bonus when you pray at his Shrine?

@klaus.schroeer: No offence was intended - your comment read as if you were unsure of the definition. No particular reason - Just how I felt I'd describe them.

@Kenomica I know i AM from germany and i know what doppelgänger means (double, copie, twins etc.),but why did you wrote "doppelgangers" and not duplicates or copies or whatever?

I think this mods pretty......useless. I can enchant rings with better stats than these.

@klaus.schroeer : As in "Duplicates" or "Copies"
BENNI.RoR Jul 13, 2012 @ 1:58pm

Talos cannot possibly be a false god since his blood was used as the Blood of a Divine to open the gate to Camoran's paradise in TESIV... jus' sayin'

@TAW| Gumby: I smell a Thalmor Spy! Haha.

I guess that all depends on who you ask. Some adhere to the concordat, others do not. Talos is still a divine to many, but equally, there are those who have denounced him.

Shouldn't this be the 8 rings of the Divine since Talos is a false God according to the White Gold Concordat.

Thanks for the comments. I've tried to integrate them in to the game in a way that warrants compatability with most mods. This meant not changing too many vendors and item lists. I am thinking of making them less rare than the amulets, however. As they are weaker.

The stats are debatable for change. For example - Shout reduction at 20% to match the amulet, as well asd 20% from the ring, and 20% from the blessing was ridiculously overpowered, hence the 10%. I tried to match all the rings to the same reduction in comparison.

However, with stat increases I understand it's quite different, compared to percentages. I may boost all stats to 10 points, whilst leaving percentages as they are now.

5 points? 10% ? Gee think you could afford it?

I like the idea of this mod; I could suggest a few improvements however, such as:

* increasing the bonus of most if not all of these rings to the same level as the amulets, because lets face it, a 5-point stat increase barely makes it worth equipping.

* increase the frequency of their appearance at low levels, when they are most likely to be useful and appreciated.

* add a full inventory of these rings to at least one vendor; I recommend Madesei in Riften.
