Meine vorige Nachricht gilt trotzdem.
first of all I wanted to thank you for the great script! We're playing regularly every week and it's just great to be doing it in such a convenient way.
Here's 2 wish-requests which we developed during our playing experience:
1. Would you mind implementing an option to deactivate the automatic score counters again? We have tried deleting the little counters from the table but that renders errors. We are more on the casual side of players which means seeing negative numbers is sometimes quite demoralizing. Being able to simply deactivate any score recording would be a great feature.
2. Are you planning on implementing the "RAMSCH" type of game at any point? I know this is not an "official" type used in tournament Skat but it's incredibly fun. My suggestion would be a button to enable the option and then if everybody passes and noone bids a Ramsch would be initiated.
That's all, thanks again for the awesome work!
thank you for your response. I can confirm that switching the resolution fixed the issue.
Now everything runs perfectly fine :)
Best regards
I have done some testing and found that the on-screen UI buttons do not scale well to 4:3 resolutions such as 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024. I'm guessing that is causing the issue for your friend.
I would recommend having them try a different resolution (or use windowed mode where you can freely resize the window) as a quick workaround until I can tweak the UI values (which is not fun) to make those buttons scale better.
Thanks again for the bug report! I really appreciate having help finding issues.
I'm fairly new to the steam workshop so i hope this is the right place to report a Bug.
One of my friends games on a MAC. The script works fine until he wins the bidding. If he is the winnner of the bidding the script wont continue. He cant chose wether to skate the skat nor what he wants to play.
It would be nice if you are abel to find the bug. But we also wont stop playing if you dont catch it :)
Thanks again for your work and cheers
It is of course your work, so I will remove the mod immediately at your request. But you are welcome to continue using it.
I've been sitting on this code for over 2 months but wanted to test before unleashing it on the public. Finally had the chance to test and squash all the known bugs so here it is!
Looking forward to feedback anyone may have!
You can declare the game type and modifiers using a UI and the game will automatically detect the actual game value including any matadors in hand+skat!
This was a big undertaking. It's been quite a journey to see this grow from the 390 lines of code of v1.0 to over 1500 LOC now! The only major feature left is full automation of trick play and scoring, which will be another large project.
Unfortunately I couldn't find any French or even Tournament decks on TTS. Let me know if you see any and I'll add one for the "French" button.
This also lays the groundwork for some additional sorting features and custom decks, as it does away with the custom "Skat" suit labeling for the deck.
I'll probably put a couple small improvements into a v1.2.1 in the next couple days (default counting back to face down as I think it's more interesting, lock out count and sort buttons while counting/sorting, maybe speed up counting a bit, although it's hard to adjust because it's framerate dependent) .
Then I may get to work on a simple game declaration and hopefully can automatically count the matadors in the soloist's hand and skat as well with that.
Vielen Dank! Mehr in Kürze.
