Very cool mod for a returning player to find! Any chance it's still compatible?

Thanks.

cheers Jack...gives Redd's CHU a few more options in transmissions, appreciated Rusty
Jack Burton  [author] Jul 26, 2020 @ 9:58am
@Rusty I updated the mod this afternoon to add compatibility for Redd's Mack CHU613. :104:
Jack Burton  [author] Jul 14, 2020 @ 5:13am
@Fury: Thank you for showing me how to do it!!

@Daryl: I have tested this mod on both 1.38 and 1.37. It works on both of these versions. It will probably work on earlier versions as well.

@Rusty: I can certainly add compatibility for Redd's CHU. Will try to get it done this weekend, but I might spend my time driving in Idaho instead.

hey Jack...cheers , but went back to some earlier Mack owners manuals and yep ya right, so have Fury's transmissions but still may trial in the Redd's CHU instead of the Eaton...thumbs up cheers

Hey Jack, thanks for the shoutout... Great work on the mod. :summer2019vehiclepig:

Hi Rusty. I think the T300 series was first released in 2001, which makes it too new for Harven's Mack R, RTA's Super-Liner (at least in North America), or Elaman's Ultra-Liner. I am not really familiar with any other Mack truck mods. Which one did you have in mind? It should be pretty easy to add.
R&J TRUCKING .CO#23 Jun 6, 2020 @ 7:58pm
Hey Jack...I haven't been on for a while, but can you make this compatible for a varios amount of other Mack mods as I think this box pre-dates the Anthem....Rusty
Jack Burton  [author] Jun 1, 2020 @ 6:02am
Thanks, Larry. I drive a T318LR myself for the control at slow speeds in the yard. With the Eatons, I never found a need to go beyond R1. Now, I use R1, R2, and R3 depending on the situation. My favorite transmission in this pack is probably the T310MLR. It's not very practical for highway use, but its low ratios are so crazy slow both forward and reverse. Would be good for farm simming.

You are very welcome, Big Time. I love driving with it myself.

Thank you for this mod, it's very much appreciated.

Updated this morning to include 3.55 ratios for all transmissions. This mod now provides 14*3=42 options!
Jack Burton  [author] May 23, 2020 @ 5:19am
Updated to include 3.25 ratio for 9- and 10-speed boxes. I am happy to add an intermediate ratio too -- 3.36 or 3.55, as Larry suggested -- if the need is there.
Jack Burton  [author] May 15, 2020 @ 8:46am
Perfect. I'll add it as an option to the other boxes, as you suggested, probably this weekend. Thanks again for your feedback.
Jack Burton  [author] May 14, 2020 @ 3:51am
Thank you for your feedback, Larry. I updated the mod this morning to add 3.25 rears to the 13- and 18-speed boxes, keeping all original options as well. With a 3.25 ratio, you will be just below 1300 rpm at 65 mph.
Jack Burton  [author] May 13, 2020 @ 4:16am
I took the standard ratios off the transmission spec sheets, but it is easy for me to customize a different rear ratio upon request.
Jack Burton  [author] May 9, 2020 @ 1:17pm
I have been getting 5.9 mpg, primarily with vocational jobs and heavy loads. I mostly haul scrapped cars.
Jack Burton  [author] May 9, 2020 @ 1:07pm
If you want more detail, you can find transmission shift charts at this site: https://www.globaltransmissionsupply.com/transmission-manuals I do prefer to shift a bit lower than is shown on the chart.
Jack Burton  [author] May 9, 2020 @ 1:04pm
I find that shifting at 1600 rpm feels right with the 4.17. You will get a top speed of 65 mph in 8H at 1600.
Jack Burton  [author] May 9, 2020 @ 12:23pm
Perfect! Thanks for letting me know it worked for you. If anyone else is having trouble, you can also copy the files themselves from this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\270880\2080494024\universal
Jack Burton  [author] May 9, 2020 @ 12:21pm
Hi Larry. You want to copy the text in the code blocks under the discussions. Begin copying with the line that says "SiiNunit" and end with the two consecutive "}" characters at the bottom of the code block. Copy this text into a text file, perhaps with notepad. Then make sure you save the file with the .sii extention instead of .txt. Place this .sii file in your folder "\Documents\American Truck simulator\steam_profiles\<profileID>\" You will know it is the right folder if you also see "gearbox_layout_eaton_10.sii" in there.

Thanks, Robinicus. I have enjoyed using these boxes with your E9 and MP Engine pack. Thank you for all the effort you took in learning FMOD and explaining the new sound system to others on the forums.
Robinicus May 1, 2020 @ 3:23pm
Good work, thanks for sharing!
Jack Burton  [author] May 1, 2020 @ 8:05am
Thanks, Daddy! Glad you like it. I had hoped that SCS would have included these transmissions with the release, so I could rightfully drive a manual with the golden bulldog.
Daddy May 1, 2020 @ 8:03am
Very very nice mod.Thanks.
