guys do you know a similar mod to this one i would simply play with this mod but it seems abondened so i just wanted to know if theres a updated mod of this one or another mod that does the same thing from this.

Either this or "Merge event ships" broke my game by spamming "curator station destroyed". granted i did add this mod mid game but still.

I am indeed enraged by the inability to upgrade event ships, so this mod is perfect. Does it allow you to build more of them as well?

To MadGAD: Собственно это уже исправлено частично этим модом. если у корабля стоит атрибут upgade = yes, его можно объединять с любыми другими кораблями имеющими этот атрибут. Сейчас я его выставил только для тех кораблей которые доступны в дизайнере (не видел смысла ставить его для всех). То есть сейчас почти все корабли из событий уже объединяются, например Sword, Direlict, R44..
Для остальных могу тоже сделать и сделаю в следующем апдейте.
В любом случае мод не может исправить УЖЕ отработанные события, только грядущие.

To ajacksonian: Right! It was this logic that I used in my Pirate mod. You found a ship, disassembled, studied technology, built it ))
Adding other ships is quite big piece of work.

I always thought that when you get an event ship you should be able to copy its design layout and have that available for your own construction, though it would take a research event and breaking down the event ship completely. The design is set in stone and costs whatever the class below it in size is plus 50% in resources. You can't make anything else with the design, but the slots can be upgraded and used like normal slots. All original tech is lost, though maybe a 5% start on the tech for each piece is granted for those techs you don't have. That would go for everything from the lowly Raider types all the way up to the Automated Dreadnought.
