If all else fails, you might make sure your system memory does not run low while loading the mod, and also try updating your videocard drivers.

* Moved all rulebooks to a bag since the ingame PDF rulebooks load very slowly when changing pages.
* Replaced faction rulebooks with faction reference cards.

* Updated all rulebooks. Note that the main rulebook contains solo and co-op rules.
Also encouraged space people to think about their moves ahead of time while the ground guys were taking their move and vice versa to reduce turn times. Game was pretty close until the Armada player suffered a catastrophic turn with the death of 3 frigates in one turn.
Also think that although rules recommend having everyone learn their own bits it helps to have 1 person who has read through all 4 to help with any problems anyone has and can identify if anyone is playing any rules wrong
