This Katria is to weak ,she stops with fighting during a fight ! good idea but to weak as a follower

I'll help you troubleshoot bro! I got some spare time to kill and enjoy the game and helping, sounds like we're both at the same level of proficiency in programming. I'll work on the voices and dialogue and making sure that we're fulfilling our quota...government requirements now force us to contribute to every gamers daily exposure to HD porn, for every hour of Skyrim he plays, we need to make sure he sees at least 7 to 10 minutes of good, HD porn with full screen 1080p, 5.1 channel audio....I don't wanna go to jail so I'll make sure we're up to date on that for sure!! I loaded this mod and I enjoyed it till I tried to devorce her and she now won't have anything to do with her ex wife. She was over all stiff and dull, nothing like the oringal ghost. There are two mods that are girls with attitude. Sophia and Caesia Follower. Check these out and maybe upgrade Katria. Also she needs more choices and show feelings, I wish my Dragonborn could express more feelings also.

Oh dear god did I actually ask for a mod to be ported to special edition? Was I high? I must go pay penance, my sincerest apologies for being so arrogant as to even THINK to forsake the ever-superior OG Skyrim.

At some point hopefully yeah, I've already ported my more minor mods as all of those are applicable to PS4 as well as XBOX and PC however my Katria mod would only be able to be brought to XBOX and PC so I'm waiting for some time in my schedule to playtest this.

Will this be ported to Special Edition?

There is a fairly common bug where the body of n NPC is a different color from their hed/face. This one has yet to discover a cure for this unsettling condition.

hm I've heard the dark face/neck bug affects a lot of people generally playing Skyrim. I'm sorry but I don't think it's my mod causing the issue specifically, try searching the problem online

I think it may have been because i was still in the chamber when i loaded in. I had to leave and reload the game outside then go in and it was there. Great mod thanks!

I'd recommend using the console to get in in that case by pressing the ` key (just under esc, top left of keyboard) to bring up the console. Then type "help katria" (without the quote marks) and hit enter, then using page up and down keys to scroll trough the list to find "katria's journal" or something similar, its been a while :/ , then type "player.placeatme <BaseID>" the base id being the long string of numbers and letters after "katrias journal"
It should be on the floor near you then, failing that try "player.additem <BaseID>" to get it into your inventory and try reading it.

id say its good but it doesn't even have her voice. It would have been very nice if you had taken the dialogue she already had from the game. she had some good dialogue that applies to most dungeons so im not sure why you didn't just add that to her dialogue, instead you put a generic voice on her instead. i hope you reconsider putting the correct voice on her.

Hi Orion, I did dabble in quest making for a spell but I wasnt able to make it how I wanted so I decided this would do until I could work out how to, for example, set the quest to start a certain point after the Lost to the Ages quest is completed.
So hopefully, one day you'll see something more :P

Hey I really like Katria too and the idea of her being a follower. However, I don't think this mod does it for me... it doesn't seem very immersive. I'd love to see a mini quest or something to get her back. Maybe the Atherial Katria could tell you about a chunk of atherium somewhere and if you get that and take it to some dude who mixes that with an enchanted soulgem yada yada... bring it back to the forge and bring her back to life! Also, her dialog just doesn't it for me... doesn't seem like Katria from the quest. I understand you prolly had to make an entirely new NPC and just name it Katria, but yea. Anyway, good job so far... hope to see some improvements soon!

Hi, Mholmberg86, ooh dear that is an annoying problem. I encountered a similar problem while i was creating her actually, but I sorted it and it shouldn't be present in this release version.

Apart from simply reloading and resummoning her from the journal, I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling from here, do you have any follower mods active? I've only tried her with AFT and UFO or possibly it's a load order issue (try moving her up or down the load order, sorry I can't be more specific here, I'm not 100% sure where she should be with relation to other followers etc. If I work it out I'll get back to you :) )

ok i have a serious issue i am UNABLE to get her to carry my items its like shes following but not following i only get the selection for FOLLOW ME and idk wut to do i love having her with me and i dont wanna lose the armor i gave her n e advice wolfish-antics?

Agreeing in it is a lot easier and simpler that way, I myself am just big into trying to keep somethings Lore friendly, specially with some of my characters I have hah.
I do love the Ghostly version though, very nice, I hope it works with making followers live anywhere mod, have her live in my house with all my other followers haha.

I'm also still having trouble with the creation kit in terms of quests and so far posting on forums hasn't yielded any assistance :( gonna persevere tho, maybe this time next year :L Generally people seem content with the (not very detailed, only really makes sense if youre returning to the forge after a time) journal's explanation :P

Just my thoughts, but for the "Alive" version of Katria you should have to go back to Arkngthamz as a vampire and "feed" on her body, wait 24 hours and then she becomes a vampire and returns to life. Make her play style Bow as her Ghost form, with same style as Serana from Dawnguard quests using the newly found vampire powers.

Alternatively for non-vampires, perhaps make a quest where you locate a shard of Aetherium and come back to the Aetherium Forge with a Ultimate Healing Potion and make a one time potion that you can place in Katria's body back at Arkngthamz to revive her, and give the same skills as her ghost.

Just a thought, it would make a more lore friendly version of the alive Katria. I would do it myself but I do not understand the Creation Kit and have failed to make anything, haha.

That is strange... It's possible that the journal has fallen into the lava behind its spawn point... My best advice would be to go to the forge and to where the journal should have been and bring up the console with ` (the button under escape and left of 1) and type help katria. Use the page up and page down keys to find the item which calls itself Katria's New Journal and then you'll need to type "player.additem [the code next to Katria's New Journal] 1" no speech marks or brackets and then read the book from your inventory. This should work... Let me know if it doesn't

For some reason, the journal won't apper next to the forge. I un installed the mod I re-installed it. I moved it up into the mod list, which i have very few total of 5 not counting the offical addons. I verfired my cache files. I can't think of anything else to try. I have no other follower mods. Any help would be great, thanks

You've gotta find all the pieces of the key first then when you have them all, you go to the ruins and Katria shows you what to do, placing the aetherium key in the sphere with arrow monument. The quest markers for Lost to the Ages should point the way

Hey sorkor, in the quest? To get into the forgeroom or are you already there? Most likely she means the key that you used to open up the forgeroom. The aetherium key, the bright blue thing you've been collecting pieces of during lost to the ages. You'll need to melt it in the forge to make the aetherium crown/shield/staff and then you'll complete the quest :) Hope that helped

Quick, simple, Lore friendly and understandable at least i would think it to be i never did anything with modding so to do what you already did is very amazing already. I bet you will do great no mater what you decide. FYI im using the ghost and loving it

I think it cool enough you hav a fully voiced follower. If you need story plot your the dragon born any necromanzer would love to get a the dragon born to owe them a favor. i would think would be a start enough.

Hey csimonetti1, I'll be having a look at quests in a few weeks time (v. busy with uni work atm) so I will take a look, but to be honest I've still not come up with a good reason as to why she's got a physical form now...(my only real attempt is what you can read in the journal itself)
So I'd ask anyone who's got any ideas to explain this to post them here and I'll have a look :) but I'm really not promising anything because I had plenty of trouble even getting this part of the mod to work :L

As a suggestion, perhaps group up with another steamer to help you and actually make a quest where you bring Katria into blood and flesh once more. I cant make myself have her as a follower all of the sudden alive again with out a reason (preferably with me the reason) :D
