Cocktails has now been added to the mod, in celebration of the Kickstarter launching today - We have chosen to keep the pre-Kickstarter 2021 art in the game though, to preserve Distilled's base game as a sort of time capsule. Enjoy!

Is there a way to auto fill the solo objective board (a,b,c cards). Everything else in the setup is automated, feels like im missing something doing it by hand? thanks

Hi, I'm wondering if you plan on adding the full version to TTS, maybe as a purchasable DLC? I'd pay for it. But most of our tabletop rounds are online, so we can only play on TTS. Hope you consider it! Also a translated (German) version would be so cool.

@LordQulex For hotseat, I'm looking into supporting this, but first I wanted to check if you had tried TTS's own hotseat mode? When you create a game, just select 'Hotseat' instead of solo or multiplayer, and then be sure to sit at green, red, yellow or blue (pink if you have a 5th player). From there, it should work as expected. The scripts will see you as having the proper number of players and work the same as if you were connected via a network.

I think the behavior will be much better if you use this official TTS hotseat mode than anything I might hack together. Of course, if there is a reason to want to avoid that mode that I'm not aware of, just let me know!

Thanks to all of the great feedback and questions below! It looks like some have been answered, but feel free to keep posting comments here. @LordQulex, great question - I will have this be on @olliebrown's radar as you bring up a good point about hotseats.

@olliebrown thanks for the reply! I just join the discord channel.:steamthumbsup:

@3JA2 Thanks for playing! There is a lot of interest in translating to various languages (with the physical version of the game) and I have my own interest in it being a part of TTS as well. If you would like to be a part of a Korean localization, I'd encouraging coming over to the Distilled Discord server (https://discord.gg/Th9WFcX) and chatting with Dave, the original creator and publisher.

Never mind - I just read update 3 :steamfacepalm:

Also - officially backed!! Had a great time playing this with more friends today

This is brilliant! Have enjoyed playing it and the scripting is fantastic!

I have a quick question - I see there is a 5th player in a bag but I'm not 100% sure how to play with the 5th player? Do I just create a hand and set it up and play without the scripting? (That's fine by me!! I just wanted to check if I was missing something...)

Again - this is awesome and I've really enjoyed it so far. 99% likely I will back the game in the next couple days...

Hi! First of all, I wanna say thank you for making & sharing this board game throught TTS. I was also wondering if it's Ok to translate this virtual version of Distilled into Korean and upload it to TTS workshop. again, thanks for the amazing work.

Jessactor:
When you start up TTS, you host a game (solo, multiplayer, doesn't matter). It will ask you to pick a game, and you may see Distilled in the "Workshop" row. If not, you need to click on Workshop and look at the other things you've subscribed to. It should load the set-up and ask you how you want to play. There are two rule books on the virtual table to help you learn to play the game.

Hope this helps!

I'm SO sorry, but how do I play this? I have Tabletop Simulator on Steam, I've subscribed to this game, I'm not sure what the missing step is here...
LordQulex Jul 9, 2021 @ 3:15pm
My wife and I joined the Kickstarter campaign not too long ago. Only one suggestion though: there are two of us, and one computer, so the scripting refuses to start with only "one player." Can you add a hot-seat script so you can play as 2+ players as the game master?

Thanks!

Thanks The Rookie! I'll pass that on to our digital developer!

Hi Wulven, thanks for commenting! I'll try to answer your questions:
1. It needs to be 3 total sugars. As long as there is a grape in there (and 2 more fruit, in the case of Brandy Cognac) you are good.
2. Good question. On the last page of the rule book, it talks about how you can claim multiple solo goals. It depends on the type of goal. For instance, you could sell a Cognac, and get a goal, and then also claim a goal for earning a certain # of points or $ in a round, and that previous cognac could count towards that. Remember, once you claim a goal in a row, you CANNOT go back down - your barrel moves up to that row and leaves others behind.
3. If you mean that you'd move a facedown goal to be above a completed goal, then yes, you'd flip that new one. Thanks!

Played a solo game today. Quite enjoyed it. Played the Scot, of course. Scored 104.

Did notice a save game glitch, the Recipe cubes don't save on the recipe card. Other than that had fun! Seriously considering backing on KS. :cozybethesda:

Discovered this today, trying out the Solo mode first. Have a few questions as I enter my 3rd round of first session:

1. For signature recipes, ex. VS Cognac in my session; what would be the minimum sugar count to be valid? it says 2+ Fruit, AND 1+ Grapes. As long as one of the sugars is Grapes, is the minimum valid count 2 or 3 total sugars?
2. In Solo, following goal rules, is it possible to claim a large number of goals in one round, or is there some per round limit I missed?
Theorycrafting example: in a single round chain starting row1; claim Distill aged, Sell 8+sp, Earn 8+sp (into row2), Earn $8+, Collect 2 diff labels (and onward into row3?)
3. In Solo, if you use the Goal Swap on a completed goal, would this reveal any cards above it at its new location?

Otherwise, great work, on the game itself and the scripting thereof~ Additional Solo setup scripting would be welcomed after character select, for the goal board (removing regions, shuffling then spreading cards).
